I remember all the crappy comments about how BR and HD-DVD weren't about gaming, and BR was actually - utterly and completely. But this? Why isn't everyone jumping on this?
PS2 will live just as long as Wii, PS3 will outlive them all (and the Nextbox too).
Wii just came 5-6 years into a generation dominated by PS2 and sold to that market, it's not a sign of longevity.
First of all, most people would prefer FF to Xbox RPGs. Last Remnant will not be as good (budget alone tells the tale - and don't go all smart@$$ hypothetical on me asking how I would know the budgets for both games) and Sakaguchi has proved he can only suck @$$ at making games nowadays, with Bomba Dragon and Flopped Odyssey (70s range on average reviews).
Tri-ace is not responsible for the best RPG series in the past 5 years, and FF has only gotten better with the departure of S...
But if that's it, then PS2 clearly is the greatest console of all time.
FFIII(6) and Chrono Trigger need to be 1 and 2 though.

Just this and next year PS3 will have better games than 360 and Wii have had/will have in their lifetimes.

Namco bandai 360 games will come to PS3, especially RPGs - they just don't sell on 360 and are the result of MS moneyhats. Not an insult, simply true.

The HD-DVDEAD add-on proved that add-ons fail on 360, and they fail in general. If someone wanted a good experience, they'd get the built-in, overall cheaper option with PS3, not 360+BRaddon - the double purchase doesn't make any sense.

This month, PS3 will >360 in USA sales, and destroy it worldwide again, making up nice ground. Month after, in GTA4 anticipation, I expect another PS3>360 month with the White Model c...

What are Xbox devotees going to say? They argued that MS will cram in a BR add-on and that it would destroy PS3's 'only' advantage. (Despite pathetic add-on HD-DVD sales)
-PS3 and 360 WILL BOTH get DLC, but 360 will get the 2 episodes exclusively.
-Rockstar MUST charge for it, because the 50 mil is an advance, and MS has to make it back.
-San An and VC were not expansion packs, and most likely you've got a limited area being sold to a very limited install base (lower than 360's 17mil of course as it relies on DLC and online accounts).
PS3 games on the other hand sell to the whole audience, and will be more attractive.

HD-DVD supporters need to be punished for their stupidity so society can treat them differently.
I seriously suggest a hot iron forehead brand of "I <3 HD-DVD". When they look in the mirror it will remind them to not make the stupidest choice possible in other areas of their life.
BR will be around until DD arrives in about 3-4 decades.
But I suppose HD-DVD fanboys will now jump onto this option instead.
