Has anyone on this staff even played Castlevania? I mean the freaking head can go though walls and can manage to get to the exact space where you can't hit them but they can hit you.
...and don't even get me started on the gold medusa heads in symphony of the night that turn you into stone when they hit you...
That list = major fail.
Basically they just took a list of games that everyone loved, picked out a couple of things that weren't super perfect and said in conclusion the game totally sucked and deserved a 20 point deduction from it's original score (on a 100 point scale).
And not the pirates that are making companies come up with these extreme measures.
You're right, PC game companies should just make games so they can hand them out like free candy at a parade and not expect to make their rightful earning for them!

Actually, I don't see how they can claim the wii mote as a failure at all since it is the sole reason as to why the Nintendo Wii has outsold both the 360 and ps3 since the release of the consoles.
To say it is a fail because it's not everything they wanted it to be is stupid.
I love my ps3 and I play the crap out of it (probably about 2-3 hours a day everyday), but I think Home blows.
You don't have to defend everything Sony does. Home is booorrring and I really don't see the appeal of it at all, or why people feel the need to have to defend it like it's God's gift to man.
Heck, I play and favor my PS3 more than my 360 and there is no way that you can say that Gears and Halo don't matter.
Gears 1 and 2 are some of the best games I've played on both systems.
And although I'm no Halo fan, you'd have to be crazy to say it doesn't matter.
It seems reviewers are receiving FF13 pretty well despite what some people may say (for every 5/10 score I see 5 more 9/10 scores).
The thing is though, other than WOW, no MMORPG really gets a lot of press. I expect FF14 to get more than others, but it will eventually fade away to the legion of WOW players.
I don't really know much about the technology behind each system. But it seems when a multiplatform game is produced on the ps3 then ported onto the 360 the ps3 version is superior. When a multiplatform game is made on the 360 and ported to the ps3 the 360 version is superior.
So until companies produce the games for each console independently there will always be a problem with a superior and inferior versions of the game.
From what I read all the summons are like transformers. They have 2 modes, the mode where they fight with you (like when you see Odin casting Thundara a bunch of times) and the gestalt mode where you ride the summon (the horse Odin). Also each character only gets one summon.
I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I haven't played the game yet so I can't really condemn or praise it before I play it.
1. Lack of a second analog stick. Somehow people are gonna disagree with this, but with a portable system that offers games with such great graphics and action/shooter games similar to consoles, a 2nd analog stick would have been a life saver. I myself never bought a couple of promising PSP games after trying the demo and not being able to get over the fact that the game would be 100% better with a 2nd analog stick (I'm looking at you PSP Resistance).

We just haven't seen one in a while that wasn't trying it's best to pass as a WRPG or a single player MMROPG.
If a developer gave up or WRPG and MMORPG influences and put out a top quality JRPG it would sell well. Heck I only need to look back to FFX for the last time a big time developer even tried to do such a thing.
Online may be phenomenal, but for me the story and dialogue was terrible. I felt like the game thought I was 8 years old. And personally I play JRPG's for the stories and character development.
So for me WKC was a disappointment.

I'm really pumped to get this game, I just hope it doesn't disappoint me like White Knight did.
That they ignored the people that already owned PSP's with UMD collections.
I myself would have traded in my current PSP and paid the difference to buy a PSP go if there was some way to transfer my UMD titles to the PSPgo.
It would have been great to have a PSP with all the games on it and no need to carry cases of games when I travel.
Sorry, but I wasn't willing to throw away the $400+ of UMD games away just to get the smaller psp with more memory.
I just traded in a game for a 25% bonus and I could have got 50% if I waited an extra week. Darn it.
The first thing you notice in the difference between the two systems other than their appearance is the noise.
I started with a 360 cause I won it in a contest and didn't really notice the noise, then whenever I got my ps3 when it was released I was flabbergasted at how loud the 360 was in comparison. It's inexplicable.
Everything else is sweet though. Over time it becomes less noticeable like most consistent noises (unless you focus on it, in that case you will be...
