Rush the production of Xbox 10.
They're taking the "early 90s Final Fantasy" approach to naming their new machine.
I disagree with him completely on Civilization Revolution. It's not nearly as in-depth as the main Civ games, but it's still a really fun game and just about as easy to waste an entire evening on as the regular ones.
I'm looking forward to this game; Shadows of the Damned was goofy and entertaining, and this looks like it'll be another slice of insanity.
Zynga is to game development what Xerox is to publishing: neither can have an original thought.
Relationships lead to the Dark Side of the Force, so perhaps they're just trying to encourage positive Force development... that or they're trying to impose their beliefs on everyone by playing the "gays are out to corrupt your kids" card.
*points at California* Haw haw!
I'm not a fan of CoD or Activision's business practices, but hey, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple economics: speak with your pocketbook.
I disagree heartily with their readers. I enjoy my 360, but there is no way it's a better system than the Playstation 2, SNES, or a gaming PC.
I really don't know why I keep clicking on links to anything that... site... produces. It's always a consistent stream of terrible.
I had a steak that was hard, but it was bad too, just like this game.
It definitely is worth the price. I buy a lot of CEs and it's probably my all-time favorite in terms of the total package. My only qualm with it was the plastic they use to hold the stuff in the box was cracked when I got it (and given the weight, I'm not surprised it happened). Other than that, yeah, wonderful extras that run the gamut in a nice looking box for an already great game. Can't beat that.
It's too bad the author didn't mention the CE for The Witcher 2. It had so many things in it (huge art book, dice & cards, coins, DLC, papercraft) and a stone bust of Geralt, not just a plastic statue. Other than that it was a decent list.
Are we sure they didn't mistype ".92/10"?
Couldn't have said it any better.
I miss Trish (and Lita as well).
Man, Vince McMahon really WILL do anything for ratings, won't he?
I remember way back in the VHS days that the only way to get a lot of anime to the US was through fansubs (anime tapes given subtitles by people who could translate the originals), and a rule among the fansubbers was that once an official release occurred, you agreed to purchase the ones you watched. For the most part, people I knew always followed that rule and anime sales finally caught on here. I hope all the people who downloaded the game follow the same rules, because we need more games ...
This guy continues to show that he doesn't realize what he did wrong, and I don't know if he'll ever really "get it", both in this situation and life in general.
Personally I think this review is an absolute sham. He trashes the game for remaining true to the arcade original. Yes the references are going to be dated, but do classic movies need to change their jokes to be more topical? And yes, classic arcade games are short but to dock so many points for game design from the 90s being faithfully ported is ridiculous. I'd hate to see how he'd review the original Super Mario Brothers or any classic game brought to PSN or Nintendo's Virtual C...
