'people think Sony have no games coming…'

This seems to be the case. If anyone feels this way, I would recommend watching the E3 Podcast Beyond with Shuhei Yoshida. In it he explains they have a long list of games ready to be revealed, but because the PS4 is doing so well he isn't being constantly pressured by the Marketing devision or those higher up than him to announce anything until he feels it's time.

@TheRedButterfly

LittleBigPlanet 3, Driveclub, and The Last of Us: Remastered. That's 3 first/second-party titles coming in 2014. Glad to answer your question.

I doubt Fifa's lack of presence on Wii U is going to have much of an adverse effect on its sales. If people buy Nintendo's consoles, it's mainly for the first party content, not Fifa.

It is crazy how they can get away with it. On Amazon right now, Fifa Football for PS Vita costs in the region of £8 (including delivery) and then Fifa 14 'legacy edition' costs £26.99. Exact same game, but with an updated kits and rosters.

Because it's a very successful franchise, but people don't believe it should be so. It's the same case with Call of Duty. There are some justifications to these views, but people also just like to hate on things they don't play or like themselves, rather than being neutral towards it.

I repeat, 'Loving this alpha'. I have not played the final game and do not know how much content is available, whether bosses/missions will get repetitive, and so worth. Therefore, no, I'm not going to pre-order it. I'm going to wait for the people who get paid for a living to review games to tell me whether what I experience in the alpha, and later the beta, truly reflects what's available in the game as a whole. If that makes me a 'slave', then okay. I'd rath...

Loving this alpha. Most definitely going to be purchasing the final game on release as long as most of the reviews are positive.

DS4 could have a stronger battery indeed. Well at least it's easily rechargeable. Imagine if we used controllers powered by disposable batteries - now that would be crazy! Wait... err...

xD

So because it's not for you it deserves to die?

I suspect it will eventually. I'm really looking forward to paying both this and PlanetSide 2 on PS4 in the future.

Looking really strong. I get the sense lots of people will be quite dismissive of it because they support Day Z, but I think it should be given a shot. Very much looking forward to it.

'"irrelevant details"... sure... we'll spend hours debating the hardly noticeable difference between 900p and 1080p @ the same FPS for an XboxOne vs. PS4, but as soon as we start talking about playing a modified game in 4k that pushes graphics to their limit, its irrelevant.'

This made me chuckle. Yup, of course every PC gamer is maxing out their games with ultra graphics in 4k resolution. That's totally the norm, right?

Wait, what? ...

Ah, okay, thanks. Wasn't aware we had the advantage in some aspects. I'll give it a go this week and see how things pan out.

Not entirely sure why they did this. Even with aim assist, I assume a mouse and keyboard pro is still going to dominate most PS4 players, and therefore putting a '*' in front of their name is just going to make them a target.

'The War Thunder I KNOW and the one I PLAY is a Aircraft dogfighting game.'

… and the game that Gaijin Entertainment have created is now an aircraft AND tank game. Just because you're not a fan of the new mode doesn't mean others aren't. ^_^

I hope if there is a sequel that it has some kind of multiplayer features. With four protagonists, it's the perfect set up for co-op. I understand that this time they didn't have the resources or time available to dedicate to it, but I hope that changes in the future. I've read some people argue it's better that it doesn't have a multiplayer, which honestly doesn't make any sense to me. As long as it doesn't compromise the integrity of the single player, any kind o...

Well this particular device is obviously trying to attract the more core and traditionally console-orientated audience. As such, most will be playing on 1080p TVs, and therefore all these other resolutions are, at least until 4k TVs become mainstream, pretty irrelevent with regards to this particular device.

Most PS4 games seem to drift around the £45 mark after being out for a week or so.

The guy said 'whomever finishes the game in 100 hours will get a medal because it’s gonna be a speedrun, there’s a lot of content', which could suggest he's referring to both main story and side content. I think the whole point of a speedrun is only doing the mainstory though, but don't quote me on it.

That's crazy. This is going to such a good value for money purchase. It's games like this that I'm happy to pay the £45 for.
