It's growing because PS4 is leading the charge. VGC's Xbone numbers are way off. There's no way the console has hit 30 million in sales yet.
Xbox fans spent all of last gen talking about how sales and Meta scores equated to relevancy and how much better the 360 was based if those metrics; now that all of those are in favor of PS4, you're taking this bipartisan stance to pretend you have some moral high ground.

The Destiny 2 Pro bundle comes with quite a bit though. It's not just the game; it's the game plus a lot of DLC (I think the $100 edition). That alone suggest that Sony could very easily drop the price of standalone Pros.

Not really. This is going to find more of a home on PC, as Xbox users by and large don't really support games like this. If these guys really mortgaged their houses and quit their jobs, they really shouldn't have bet on this horse. I hope it does well enough for them that they make a sequel that comes to PS4 and Switch as well so they can make a good amount more.

Not even remotely possible. Pro has an advantage this holiday that X won't: price drop. Sony can temporarily drop the Pro's price to $350-ish, since the product will be a year old. X basically has to stay at $500 since it's brand new. And let's be honest, $150 difference for minimal improvements won't end up X's favor for most consumers.
To be honest, video games are actually part of the reason I work. I enjoy playing, which obviously means I have buy them, which obviously means I need money. Where do I get it? Working! Yaaaay! And God knows I would never accept welfare unless I abaolutely needed it.
It's possible a lot of PS4 games won't even be available on PS Now. As of right now, the only real exclusive is Killzone SF; no Knack, inFamous, The Order, etc.
Yeah, and Sony has spent the better part of this gen doing both. It's hilarious how Nintendo and its fans attempt, but fail, to justify the crap hardware by saying "B-b-but it's different!" The first one definitely had a lot that made it stand out, but the series overall has long since dried up and lost a lot of its appeal.
There's no Naughty Dog, no Santa Monica, no Guerilla, no Sucker Punch, no Japan Studio... The Xbox brand is built on the backs of third party studios, while their few internal studios are mostly just remnants of said third party ones. That's why Xbox fails in exclusives; MS didn't spend decades, shedding blood, sweat, and tears to build up some of the greatest developers in the industry. They simply flashed their checkbook around.
