What is this guys deal? He screwed up royally when he was the head of PlayStation, has been jumping from company to company since, and got insanely butthurt when Phil Spencer was given the job he wanted. Now he's trying to butter Nintendo up? This dude just needs to leave the gaming industry all together.

Japan has given up on Xbox period. There's no point in MS trying to put their names there.

There's not gonna be a new PS console in 2018. That would be insanely ridiculous and stupid on Sony's part.

Not nearly as many as Dats Gone. Plus in Days Gone, they actually move lol

Sony knows that that's what their studios do best. Last gen, so much talent and resources went to waste because Sony was trying too hard to be like everybody else, instead of just letting their studios create what they want. Sure, we got some amazing and seriously underrated games like MAG and Starhawk, but those games were quickly ecclipsed in a market full of dudebro shooters. Third parties/ indies will take care of multiplayer heavy shooters, racers, platformers, etc.; Sony's inter...

Everything borrows from something these days. Nothing is completely original anymore. For games, it's become a lot less about being new and fresh, and more about doing better than what's already out there. Days Gone isn't going to stand out from its gameplay; it's going to stand out for its beauty, the amount of enemies on screen, how a multitude of both environment and enemy activity can affect the gameplay, etc.

If you're the type of person that can&#...

It's no different than Sony's Cross Play/ Cross Buy program on Vita. They're technically giving away two versions/ copies of the same game for the price of one. Very few developers/ publishers would want to do that, hence why we're basically only going to see third parties do it.

Does it matter? I don't think we'll be seeing affordable 8K displays until 2023

So while MS is lowering the bar, from an already fairly low status, with their future conferences this year, while Sony is clearly trying to do more. MS honestly believes slapping 4K and XBO X Enhanced on indies and multiplats is really gonna sell...

Not for me it hasn't been. I finally convinced myself to blow $400 on a Xbone S last August, thinking I'd be willing to enjoy at least some of the exclusives. That thing hasn't been plugged since November; my PS4 still takes up 95% of my gaming time, whilst the other 5% is my Switch when I'm bored. What a waste...

Well, he still has his red spartan markings, the white ash skin, and the massive scar on his chest from when he impaled himself with the Blade of Olympus. I think it's safe to say this is the same Kratos.

To the critics who want the classic formula, Barlow says: "Give is a chance. If you liked the first God of War, we have several veterans on our team from the first two games, and we're sure you'll enjoy this"

That is probably the best most mature response any director could give to critics. If only more people were like him. I can't wait for this one.

I figure checkerboard 4K for Pro is obvious, but I can't bring myself to care. All that Xbone X has proven to us is that resolution and graphical fidelity are two completely things; native 4K doesn't mean a game actually looks good. Look at Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2 for examples. I don't care about 4K until I know games across the board will look amazing without having to make any sacrifices for native 4K or higher frame rates. The rendering techniques that developers can u...

That is great, but it's still not something to devote all resources to. Amazing stories are great, but so is variety. I hope Sony is still willing to try different gameplay mechanics like they did with games like MAG and Starhawk on PS3. It'll just be great to know that they're taking risks in other areas as well.

Yeeeeeaaaah... I'm gonna have to say you're in the minority on this one. Myself and millions of other God of War fans were sold last E3. Speak for yourself buddy.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting this. I figured Switch would get at least one or two more months. Switch might take July, but after that the rest of the year belongs to PS4.

Yes, but their competition were arguably much more powerful. N64 would've been a total beast had it not been for cartridges, and GC and XB were a lot more powerful than PS2.

"Power is the reason everyone buys consoles!" The NES, the SNES, the PS1, the PS2, the DS, the Wii, and the 3DS would like to have a word with you.

Yeah. They're not being forced to make shitty Kinect games anymore. I don't plan on buying SoT, but I did enjoy the E3 demo for the fact that it was so playful. It really brought me back to what made Rare so great when I was much younger. I really wish the best for them with the game, and hope MS doesn't screw them over again.

It sucks that this company has a lot of pull in Japan, but thank god their seen as an absolute joke on the international level. I really hope Sony keeps throwing them the finger and give Kojima/ other former Konami employees the respect they deserve by continuing to work with them on future projects. Screw Konami. They're nothing but a bunch of corrupt hacks whose only value is the IP's that they hold hostage.
