Platinum'd the first one which was painfully time consuming because it was pretty much based on chance. I did however enjoy the game to some extent. I hope they've improved on all the first ones shortcomings. Would definitely be awesome to see them do something more akin to the Ratchet and Clank remake in terms of more diverse gameplay and exploration.
I have a strong suspicion that the marketing direction for both these "pro" consoles will be largely centred around its cost. I mean if you think about it, they can keep the PS4 Slim and Xbox One Slim around the same price they're going for now. Comparatively, the pro consoles will sit around a $5-600 price mark and be targeted towards the core group and all in one 4K entertainment enthusiasts.
This will ensure the mass audience who have the standard consoles ...
Looks like you can finally set custom waypoints with a guide on the minimap. Lawd have mercy, it only took 1 year.
There is. It's called The Witcher. Seriously though, CD Projekt Red would absolutely nail a game like that after the books and show have ended. Much like The Witcher takes place after the books. If they were to do it, it should not be until they have freshened up after C2077.
Wouldn't mind a Game of Thrones type television show to continue the story with Ciri as a struggling empress and Geralt hunting monsters again, with the two occasionally crossing over.
Mehhhh. Need to see big improvements to gameplay and content before vesting any interest in Battlefront sequel. I am definitely excited at the fact that Visceral is releasing a Star Wars game next year though. What I really want is a spiritual successor to KOTOR and Jedi Knight. Kind of absurd that they've had this license for 3 years now and are yet to release any game that properly puts you in the role of a Jedi (Battlefront's doesn't count). I hope it's because all these de...
I really hope they've reduced the ridiculous amount of lag trying to browse through menus. Really takes you out of the game when you want to quickly add a decoction mid combat.
He's playing Crash Bandicoot! A game within a game. Come on, these teases are way too much.
Just like Too Human.
"We're on the cusp of revealing a new console but are yet to show it, and thus can only present what we currently have that is new and upcoming on currently released systems." Zelda is the exception because despite it being an NX game, it's also a Wii U title. Though it is odd that there's nothing for the 3DS. A sign that maybe the NX will be a line of new systems with games that scale across its platforms. Similar to the original goal of the PS Vita and PS3/4?
I don't actually know why I've preordered a VR unit yet. I intend to use it to watch 3D movies, but I am yet to see a game that will excite me with anticipation to use it. I'm mainly a TPS/Action/Adventure/RPG player, so I'm not even sure if these type of games are ideal to play with a VR. I tried a DK 2 Rift at uni once, hated the lag and the screen door so much that I didn't see the value in such a device. I hope those issues are non-existent with the PSVR.

DLC is the most major concern of mine at the moment. I can already picture the ridiculous amount of preorder armour and weapons exclusive to retailers. Eugh. I just hope if they have a season pass, it's more like the Witcher with chunky story expansions and not a bunch of fkn weapon add ons and garbage like that.
This is definitely one of those rumors leaning far more towards true than false. Considering Marvel studios recent joint venture with Sony in regards to its films, perhaps one of the clauses within the contract in regards to Sony's merch and marketing exclusivity rights also entails them being able to produce video games exclusive to their platform. Which is absolutely awesome if true. The focus is on one platform -maybe NEO as well- allowing for it to be extremely refined.
I was actually doing some research in regards to UHD BD compatibility for PS4 and happened across this...from October 2015:
"However, Ultra HD Blu-ray compatibility is something that the company is currently considering. Ito says, hypothetically speaking, they can indeed think of a way to make it possible, by making an enhanced PlayStation 4 model that is compatible with Ultra HD Blu-ray—but there’s more to it than that."
It seems like the res...
I've missed those E3 closes similar to the 'one more thing' Apple used to do. Imagine Sony closing with a Crash trailer, and Microsoft closing with a Banjo Kazooie one. Hnnnng, the revival of platformers baby.
I'm the worst. I've finished both these titles half a dozen times on PS3 AND PC (Max settings rig). Yet I still find myself wanting to grab this as well. I'm such a sucker, eugh.
All games falling under the PS4.xx mantle will require a 'base mode' for games to run on the original PS4, with a 'NEO mode' for the Pro console. I like the idea of a "PlayStation Pro". Not only will it drop the price of the PS4 Basic, parents will like grab the cheaper consoles for their kids and thus push game sales higher. Meanwhile, the enthusiast will be able to enjoy higher quality versions of their games as well as enjoy UHD blurays. It's a great plan on S...
EDIT: Despite saying worldwide, it doesn't ship to Australia. So now my order is going to some foreign country. Hopefully now that I've got my foot in the door, I can email Square Enix to get my order heading in the right direction.
Preordered collector's for PS4. hnnnnnng baby.
I really hope Bryan Cranston is voicing Commissioner Gordon in the campaign considering he did the VO for the trailer.
