Great news if true, I'm simply going off what was in the article, which assumes the system is carrying a Tegra X1 variant. I remember rumours of the system carrying a Tegra X2 chip going around a while ago which would place it at a theoretical maximum of 1.5 T/Flops, so you might be right! The only reason I'm skeptical of that is Zelda's resolution in docked mode considering it's not as visually demanding as some games on X1 and PS4 which run at 1080p. Only time will tell real...
It's expensive sure, but it's a new console and you're getting a built in screen with the device too. You don't have to connect it to a TV at all to use it either. So you could very well go out and buy it and you'd have a handheld with console graphics in your hands. I think its launch price is quite well justified for that reason. The accessory costs are a bit of a nightmare though, so I'll probably wait for them to come down.

So it's a Wii U in portable mode and slightly underpowered original Xbox One in docked mode. I wonder if the console will have a "Pro" variant down the line. Would be nice to have a 1080p screen with maybe a Tegra X2 or even a standalone console version with 4K graphics. Still keen anyway, preorder fully paid off with Zelda LE. Bring it on!

Xbox Scorpio info blowout and design reveal, Crackdown as a launch title, Sea of Thieves gameplay, Halo 6, Forza 7 and Gears of War 5 teasers, maybe 1 or 2 new IP reveals, a bunch of indies, COD/BF gameplay with timed-exclusive crap, and of course Xbox is the best place to game quotes. And in my crazy fantasy a "One more thing" ending with a Banjo Kazooie teaser.
But I dream.
No because just hitting 4K by increasing the resolution on current gen games doesn't really equal next gen. Next gen is going to require a lot more power (16-20 T/Flops for 4k/30fps) as a base to earn that classification.
It's like going from FFXV graphics to Kingsglaive visuals.
If 4K didn't exist and Xbox Scorpio was a 1080p console then sure, you could consider it next gen because games would be tailored to a 6/Tflop baseline for 1080p. PC ...

Well I'm assuming the announced $299 US price doesn't include tax, and therefore is closer to $330 at the register, which is actually roughly $440AUD, so we're only paying $20USD/30AUD more. I'd say that's pretty good!
I think as unconventional as it is, releasing additional features and "completing" FFXV is what they should do. I'm about 40 hours through, and it's fantastic but it definitely feels like there's a lot cut out. But the potentials there, and rather than drop it and move on, I think they should continue to focus on it.

Oooh very exciting! This will be Rockstar's first current gen game built from the ground up. Hopefully this heralds a lot of new AI and graphic tech by them. Going to be dope on Scorpio and PPro.

I figured this would be the case due to the mass relays not existing in this galaxy -well as far as we know- but I think it could also be a possibility that they've never been discovered. Why would the reapers limit themselves to the Milky Way galaxy?

As much of a dream as it would be to me for Rocksteady to make a Superman game, it's hard to imagine it being successful or working.
Superman Returns system of Metropolis being your health might help, but I also think that a political/diplomacy system crossed with the nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor could work.

That's cool for post-launch DLC but don't make it a half assed ham-fisted piece of content. I really disliked that about the previous game's DLC squadmates. I would definitely prefer just one fleshed out character that also contributes something fresh to the main quest. Not a bunch of extra squad mates that sit around with three lines of dialogue that get repeated.

The rumour is that there are two games in development, a Suicide Squad game designed to be like Borderlands, which would be coming first. Following that, there is apparently a Damian Wayne Batman Beyond game where Bruce's son takes the mantle of the Bat instead of Terry Mcginnis.

Well the incremental gen sort of gets games to 4k, I mean if you're dealing with next gen (18-20T/flops as a baseline) I don't think anyone will want to revisit it when they'll likely have Fallout 5 with crazy ultra realistic graphics and advanced gameplay due to more powerful CPUs. I do think next gen will be unlike any before it. Something similar to PS2 going to PS3. Open world RPGs will be rocking graphics like The Last of Us 2 at that stage.
