Are they positive that it has damage? I haven't seen one video clip that shows off damage. Not that I care either way, but it'd be nice to have the complete package.

Ummm, Gears of war has been passed, by Uncharted. It's the best looking game on any console to date, and that's not my opinion that's many of the reviewers in the game industry. You might think Gears is better looking, but that's your opinion and definitely now in the minority. Not to say Gear isn't a great game though.

The sad thing is with the gamespot situation, and if you think it's just only gamespot that feel pressure from advertisers, or whom in the past have scored "Favorable" scores, it really taints sites like game rankings, and metacritic (Which by the way is owned by Cnet). What I mean is, I'd say although different Genre's MAss Effect is similar to Uncharted in terms there both AAA. Yet Mass Effect overall score is like 92.0, and Uncharted overall score is 89.0% (Taken from gamerankings or metacrtic).

Anyways these numbers are way off from Fatmusai (SP?) released numbers from a day ago. I recall it had PS3 numbers around 60K+ and Wii around 40K+, plus other numbers are off too.

I think personally it's a rough translation, I'm sure it was said, but in such a way, in which the director said he'll concentrate on 1 Version of PES (PS3?) and then work on other platforms, rather than how they did was 2008 which is work on all Platforms at once. Hence his comments about not really being setup for a multiple SKU platforms.
Good news to see, especially with all the delays PS3 games have suffered, for a game that was expected to be delayed and come out in 08, is now infact ready when it should have. Now hopefully nothing was rushed.

Again, the majority of the sites, including Gamespot, IGN, Kotaku, Joystick, all gave numerous props to this. 1up while giving some props, felt there were some issues. Different people will see different things, however I'd take the majority of the review/impressions which have been almost all universally positive.

Halo will be great. This game looks great, hopefully it will play great and if so, it'll be one of the top FPS for any console.

Some of the things your saying are inaccurate...
The fact the your recieving an image on Component cable, means it's not TRUE 1080p, it's lesser image, and it's not digital.
Why it's not digital? Cause X-box 360 GFX doesn't support a digital signal, it's all anolog.
Not sure how it works on HD-DVD end, but I beleive it's digital, as long as you have the HDMI version (Elite).
Also I'd say the machine X-box 36...

You realize that 360's sold just over 100 K in Months of Feb and/or March, April of 2006....You know the months after christmas/holidays, when it's traditions for consoles to sell less. The same month where PS3 sold like 98 K in the us or whatever the number was...360's priced 100-200 less sold just slightly more.
Do you also realize that even with the slow selling PS3 from Nov to March, it's on pace to sell more in USA than X-360 did....
He's not talking about being more "mature" as in more gore, like manahunt. He means more mature as in the story line. It's just a a more mature story that is more attached to the real world, that richer than the kid/teen novels we've been playing not that there is anything wrong with it. But in the sense the real world has alot more grey, than black (bad guys) and white (good guys).
