I've gotta say, the entire intro is a perfect 10.
Normally I'd dig into Ubi a bit more too, but if they're actually going to take a step back on the DRM policy (despite the code-boner they just pulled), I should ease up on them a bit. At least they're acknowledging their foul.
Still though, this is pretty funny. Unless you bought Rocksmith in Europe.
@moderators
Screw you and your selective policing. You guys sit around all day and watch people troll and derail, and you're taking a bubble away from me because I responded directly to a comment in here that wasn't on topic (the other comment, not mine, which was a direct response)? On those grounds you should be removing 50% of the comments that appear on this site. I find it hard to believe that enough of the community voted me that way on a 20 degree story that i...
He's a troll, he doesn't want to be taken seriously beyond getting people riled up. For some reason the people on this site can't seem to stop feeding him or his Sony and MS counterparts.
He pulls out normal chat when it suits him, or I guess when it's time to hit articles early to load up on bubbles. The rest of the time he's just a 1-trick-pony of a troll that, if the responses he gets are any indication, people find endlessly entertaining.
I know this is old, but for the record, GW2 is not F2p. It does not have a subscription. The two mean very different things.
This was one of the VERY few games I pre-ordered in the past year (maybe the only one, now that I think of it), where I wait for most games to get a little cheap. Aside from excitement, a good deal of the reason had to do with wanting to show support, so something like this wouldn't happen. I guess the community doesn't feel the same way.
Enjoy Black Ops 7 everyone. Or is it Modern Warfare 9? Whatever the hell it is, I hope you all really love it.
@Evildead360
How was what you said a reply to omi25p at all?
I don't know what is most nauseating about you, the fact that you'll just insert yourself wherever you're most visible, regardless of what comment thread you derail, the fact that you seem to think you will melt if any non-flattering fact about MS goes uncontested by you and your spin-machine, or the fact that you leave a signature on article comments as if someone is going to challenge...
"The gamepad is not something you should want to put aside, its designed to be...desirable."
But it's not, despite it's intentions. And if I were to get a WiiU, I would want to put it aside whenever a game doesn't require it (which theoretically should be frequently enough, if Nintendo are going to land all the multi-platform support they've missed out on lately). The pro-controller *can* do something that the gamepad can't; it can be a ergonomic...
Suggesting in 2012 that a tray in front of you to enable voice communication is a viable option is a bit out there. It's a system that isn't even out yet, and people have a clusterfuck to look forward to when doing something they've been doing without hassle on other consoles for years? A wire is one thing, a tablet-sized dongle hanging from your head is another.
That being said, I'm pretty sure there will be reasonable means of voice-chatting on the Wii-U, re...
@Dlacy13g
That was not the #1 complaint about the PS3, by a longshot. The lack of cross-game chat definitely was up there, but I don't think anyone was annoyed that a room of 16 people wasn't constantly chirping at once.
Also, you're ignoring the fact that Sony had/has first-party offerings for headsets. Or rather, you're confusing "first-party" with "in-the-box".
Sure, there would be more people talking i...
I will be the only comment on this article.
Anyway, too little too late. If they insisted on sticking with a play-by-mail model of online play, they should have at least created some type of bulletin board where players can set matches and find opponents. This improvement is something, but not nearly enough. Also, $4 for classical music tracks? It's chess, for crying out loud, they should have permitted the use of custom soundtracks for this one. I'll put on my own c...
I don't know, I placed an order and haven't seen any codes yet... No big loss if it doesn't work out, but it will be kind of a letdown.
Reminds me of "Drug-free school zones"

@nrvalleytime
Ooof! Have a bubble haha.
Seriously, I'm surprised more people aren't talking about that. That video is one of the most pathetic and cringeworthy desperate attempts at humor that I've witnessed this year.
Sadly, most of the comments on the youtube video are dumping on him for his race. Way to keep it classy youtube. You totally have the moral high ground on him now.
"If you do not chat with the people you are playing with online why even bother playing online."
To enjoy the dynamic of online games without having to hear *you*.
The RPG on the Super Famicom was pretty awesome.
You don't sound like a young child trying to rationalize his thievery. Not at all.
A couple of others have already said it, but I think it needs to be reinforced if you still believe that changing the HDD is a hassle at this point.
It's really simple, man. 1 screw to get the tray out, 4 screws in the tray. Put the new HDD where the old one was, put the screws back, and you've got yourself a brand new HDD. I snagged a 500G a long time ago for pretty cheap (maybe $75) and never looked back.
Also, you can get an enclosure for your old...
@Mewhy32
"A 5 gig install? That's just unacceptable"
Actually, it's not all that out-of-the-ordinary or outrageous. Have you not played console games this gen?
@wadarae The dramatic bi***es.
