I don't like the futuristic-ness.
But, the last one was fun.
Sweeeeeet
When is Sony's Gamer's Day?
Could you explain this in a little more detail? I know the architecture of the Cell is a lot different than that of the 360 processor, but I never thought that it would be a weakness of the PS3.
Needless to say, I'm very surprised. I wish they could go more in depth about why.
Smart. Very smart.
Graphics look good, but what about the AI? I'm sorry, but all those demons did was sit there and walk around waiting for their turn to be pounded and yelled "Slam Dunk!" at by Dante.
I know it's early, and things can change, but AI is usually mostly finished by the time they release this amount of footage. It was like the boss at the end of the scene was the ONLY thing that took skill rather than button mashing.
And him practically flying....I dunno.....
Have they released the tech specs for your computer if you want to play Crysis?
And a bummer that they said there are no plans to put Crysis on PS3 or 360. Hopefully they are just delaying until the right time to announce.
*cross fingers*
Do they mean porting from PC to PS3?
Or could they mean porting from PC/360 to PS3? Because from what I've read it seems that making a game for the PC/360 is similar. Maybe they're pulling a Valve (HL2 to consoles) and already have it ready for the 360 or something.
I don't know. Good nonetheless, I want Crysis and my comp can't handle it.
See, it's the same way that "Stainless" steel is REALLY stainless. It just stains less.
So, the cell...uh...limits less....yeah
I guess the PS3 isn't THAT powerful?
Maybe you're being sarcastic...but he said was that they are going to make games for the Wii, and then games for the PS3 and 360. Actually, he said they are going to be putting more effort into Wii than the other systems.
Seems logical to me. I would agree with him saying the gamer audience is much different on the Wii. Don't think it'll win in the end though.
Very nice. I feel like it doesn't have the smooth curves that GT:HD does though. Anyone else agree?
Needless to say, this game has damage and customization options, where GT 5 doesnt.
I agree with all of you. I'll keep my issues to myself because this is still incredible. Can't wait to get it.
You know, when it comes out (slated June), it will have been 6 months since the PS3 came out.
I mean, would you really expect a graduating college basketball MVP to do as well or better in the pros? Dude... come on...
I for one think this is a very impressive game coming out only half a year after the console's release. And you only point out the negatives. What about: The number of dragons on screen at one time (all doing something independently of each other),...
For the record, I know this is not a finished product.
BUT, I hope they clean up the charging at other dragons (it's weird if you look at it. They run into the other dragons and then it like, "resets" into hand-to-hand combat).
As well as the shading and colors of the ground troops. They were all a brilliant silver when you go on the ground. You'd think they'd be a little bit dirtier being in a war and all.
They don't. In the Lair interview with IGN, he says hows there is no multiplayer aspect in the video game. He said they wanted to make sure they could make the best single-player version they could.
But he did say that depending on how well Lair is received and what the community thinks, it's a definite possibility that if there is a Lair 2, it could have multiplayer.
Graphics didn't really impress me that much. I mean, they're better, but nothing surprising. It'll obviously look better.
What did impress me was the solid framerate with close-to-camera explosions, number of people at one screen, etc etc.
Something semi-important to remember - Is this all system link or what?
So was this really something countdown worthy?
I think we were all hungover from GTA IV. Too bad...
Is it possible we might be seeing a price drop come holiday season? Now I know Sony has said they won't think about it until a couple years from now, but I think things haven't picked up as much as they wanted it to since they said that.
I mean, this, along with the cut of the 20 gig model, means they will really be laying into the 60gig production line. Maybe Sony is lightening up?
Price cut is coming (diode costs went way down), and the lineup is coming.
Technology prices go down and libraries increase. How? Time. Same thing happens to every console. Every piece of technology.
I agree with TheWishman. The guy's an idiot.
