I beat the game on normal, yet the video I just saw on the website was more than what I saw when I beat the game. Why would that have happened?

I think he's just trying to point out the effort that went into the title.

The XBOX 360 dashboard is all hardware driven. PS3's is not.

That means that a greater percentage of the PS3's RAM capabilities go to the developers. With the 360, there's a certain amount of RAM set aside for dashboard access, streaming, whatever. But with that less of a percentage of the 360's RAM capabilities are available to developers.

I've always been big into sound in games, so I'm glad that this is up to the developer with the PS3.

And if you ask me Microsoft did it the easier way.

But, now PS3 developers can use the extra RAM for their games instead of it already being used within the hardware. And if they don't need it those 12 MBs, they can add music streaming. I bet some developers like the access to all (or most) RAM because

A) More RAM
B) All the time and money put into audio recording, coding, whatever will actually be noticed.

As an example, I would never play...

Not hard drive memory, but random access memory (otherwise known as RAM). RAM controls how much can go on at one time (more or less), so it'll impact developers at least a little bit.

MGS is big in Japan? I didn't know...

Would you say it's bigger in the US or in Japan?

Agreed, should have been optional. Default: On; at the most.

That'd be cool if they made an update available through the PSN to optionally enable the sticks. I'd imagine if the community asked for it enough, and if sales were disappointing, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

Just look what happened with Bioshock.

Sounds about right

Need to make copies of the game, need to ship the game, allow time for reviews (sometimes, depends on the game) and allows marketing to kick in. I think we'd all be surprised by how long it can take a finished game to get to shelves.

Is it just me or does this video look so much better than the others?

The whole story is linked to nectar. It ends up not being just a "power mode" drug. I'll let you form your own hypothesis after watching this video...

This is a preview? It's just some PS3 fanboy over-hyping a yearly released sports game.

I love my PS3, but come on man, do you really have to sound desperate?

My God, look at those lighting effects....

Unbelievable. If it weren't for the gun I'd of thought it was a Hollywood-budget movie.

You bet MS paid for REAL good stuff, do you?

Tell me, has any downloadable content that MS has released been "Real good stuff"?

Be logical. The "real good stuff" you are referring to will be included in the game, because that's how you sell games. You make them good.

It'll probably be extra missions/weapons, stuff like that. That's what downloadable content always is.

I'm sure it isn't going to be that big of a deal, I doubt Sony would let something huge slip through their hands
