It has a good lineup for February. Yes you're right, Xbox One doesn't have anything in the first half of 2015. It will most likely get outsold by the PS4 month by month.
The only thing interesting for the Xbox One, is that cinematic experience Quantum Break. Can't wait too see more.
Games go on sale all the time. Especially games and consoles that underperform. This isn't news to them.
Great news for the gaming side of Sony. At this rate, I think the PS4 will hit 20 million before the Xbox One can even reach 10.

The Xbox One is on sale most of the time. If you look hard enough, you can find a great deal.

When Titanfall launched, no PS4 won NPD but was really close. And PS4 won again during Destiny month. Michael Pachter fails again. PS4 is too strong.
It wont save the Xbox from lagging behind 2:1 but I can't deny Microsoft trying really hard to be competitive by offering the $50 cut. It's good for consumers. With the Master Chief Collection, it could be a close race with the PS4 this holiday in the US. It depends if people care enough about Halo to buy a port collection. Ports usually sell much less.
Before you jump to conclusions, this is the same boring demo. The final game will be better.

No. The Xbox1s momentum is minimal at best. A minor spike in sales, yes. Then next week it will plummet. Titanfall is a good example of this. Titanfall had hype, this game doesn't compare.
This game is getting good reviews. But there's some problems I've read that kills it for me, like the repetitive mission design and rinse and repeat structure. Here's a summary from a couple of reviews I've skimmed through

-Forced humor, not subtle and bad writing

-Too easy and no difficulty settings

+Weapons and shooting
+Graphics
The gap is only going to get bigger :(
