The "master race" people are mostly just a bunch of nerds that really don't care THAT much about games.

I have both feet in the console and pc world and have a 2500$ computer that I build myself. Was it worth it? Are the games THAT much better? Are there so many games that are great that justify it?

The first thing Nintendo need to do is make a OS that works better, or at least make it much faster.
I feel like I have gone back in time every time I use my Wii U. Not because of the games but because the OS is so slow and just plain horrible to navigate around.
The people behind the OS should get their behinds spanked, several times by a clown with a evil laughter.

Personally I think visual quality has just improved more and more in contrast to this article.
A new TV today has all the possibilities to deliver entertainment as Netflix,HBO Nordic etc..
Most new bluray players have also this option with it's Smart Tv functions. And let's not forget all the multimedia boxes you can buy.
So having these features is not a selling point for me, not anymore. It was before when you HAD to have a console to get all these entertainment features.

As E3 and maybe PAX will be the time when new games will be announced.
They are now junk, sell and move on.
Personaly I see it as a "win" for Sony for each day Microsoft dont do anything.
As it is now people know more or less what is in store from Sony, and people are excited to see the console and more games at E3.
But with Microsoft one dont know anything, will the hardware be weaker? Have Microsoft finaly started to think about the core gamers again?

I did not bother to read any more. Phones and phone games in a box like Ouya is not a growing competition, it is not even in the same league.
It is beyond me how a little faction of gaming reporters have started to think mobile and tablet games is taking over for real games on consoles and pc...
