Microsoft today announced the worldwide launch of Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1, a new disc compilation of hit Xbox Live Arcade games plus a free 1 month Xbox Live Gold subscription and downloadable Xbox Live Arcade demos.
A fun Q&A with perhaps the most famous name on XBLA.
2K Games is ready to start feeding Xbox Live Arcade with interesting games from small developers that should be a nice complement to its big budget, triple A titles like BioShock and Mafia. As many publishers have found, 2K can afford to take a greater risk with quirky games on the platform since they cost a fraction to make and shareholders don't have lofty expectations of selling millions of copies. Games like Axel & Pixel, a point-and-click adventure starring a goofball painter and his dog. We got to take it for a spin recently at 2K's studios and were impressed with what we saw.
Binge Gamer writes: So yeah, the cost of Xbox Live Arcade games seems to have settled at a sad $15 range instead of the five bucks per game we started out at. However, that doesn't mean deals still can't be had, especially with Amazon getting their awesome hands on XBLA game codes to sell.
Costing you less than your average fast food value meal, you can grab one of the following at the low low price of $2.96 (of course no shipping charge).
