Are the recent videos from the Bulletstorm creators that make fun of COD and Halo a good thing? (Bulletstorm, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Culture, Dev, Halo, Industry)

Yes. Bigtime. Look at Duke Nukem 3D and Serious Sam for example, nothing wrong with a bit of heckling and parody of a more known franchise.
