EA Sports has never released a Hockey title on the Nintendo Wii, the sports giant aims to change all that with their newest title, NHL Slapshot. NHL Slapshot will feature one of the greatest known players of all time, Wayne Gretzky in the hopes of pulling in the most dedicated of sports fans to the franchise. Senior Producer Joe Nickolls explains why EA Sports waited so long to bring Hockey to the Wii, how the new Hockey stick accessory came to be, and how amazing the game looks on the Wii, in addition to the involvement of the great Wayne Gretzky.
