"Earlier this year when I heard that EA Sports was creating an NHL game for the Wii, I pinched myself to see if I was dreaming; and not in a good way. Let’s face it: while the Wii is innovative and a lot of fun, it’s certainly not a powerhouse when compared to the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. The NHL franchise on the “bigger” consoles is a monster, with a huge list of features: realistic physics, fantastic graphics and sound, online updates; you get the idea. So how could the Wii version of NHL possibly compare to the big boys? The short answer is: it doesn’t. But that doesn’t really matter, because it is pretty freakin’ awesome."
