a wii exclusive to have destructible envirionment could it work I mean its the wii

nintendohomie5462d ago

I think it would be fun to destroy a car with your sword.....just make that a game.

Oh yea Project Hammer got canned!!! why!!

Product5462d ago

I really miss Project Hammer.

ChickeyCantor5462d ago

And what do you know about Wii's hardware to come to such conclusion?
eeeeeyh?

Microsoft Xbox 3605462d ago (Edited 5462d ago )

There is good destructible environment and there is generic destructible environment. I'm betting its g_________ .

Product5462d ago

I see what you did there...

N4g_null5462d ago

I don't miss project hammer it was boring. If you played the marvel overhead game, I forget the name then you have played that game.

Destructible environments is easy nintendo has it in Wii resorts they even have a suto 3d shader on it. This would be nice to see how they include it in the game play though. Could turn the game into a very smart FP slasher with some strategy.

I see what they are saying and I'm expecting to catch up on a lot at E3. This one is going to be good.

UBI, UBI, UBI,
I likes Redsteel 1, it was bad but not the most horrible.
But please don't make things as they are not >_>.

Looking forward to this "feature" though, hope its good.

mastiffchild5462d ago

Well, instead of tryong to salvage ANYTHING from the first game-and there were some great ideas in there-they do appear to be making something completely disconnected from it.

Means we have zero chance of knowing anything about what the game might be like but, hey it's better this than the usual Ubi on the Wii diet of Rabbid mini games and forelorn ports that really should've been left on the PS2/Xbox1.

YeOldeGamer5462d ago

...since the player will be flailing their arms with their make-believe sword, knocking over lamps, breaking family pictures, and smashing their TV screen. The Wii, in 4-D! :p

KruLLit5462d ago

The 4th dimension is time :p

YeOldeGamer5462d ago

Um, yeah...I know. Of course I was kidding anyway, but it actually would involve the 4th dimension. If what you do in one place (videogame) has an effect on events in another (your home)....then your actions would have crossed the space-time continuum. ;)

looking forward to red steel 2 along with the conduit

The Most Improved Video Game Sequels - Part Two

Phil writes, "Too often we see video game sequels that don't quite live up to their predecessors... but we already have an article series dedicated to those games. Instead, let's take a look at those video game sequels that not only live up to their predecessors but greatly surpass them in quality. It's time to bring back The Most Improved Video Game Sequels (you can read part one here) to check out these sensational sequels that delivered and did so in a deliciously delightful manner."

Resident Evil 4
Ratchet & Clank 2
Silent Hill 2
Street fighter 2
Castlevania: Symphony of the night
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Assassins Creed 2
Metal Gear Solid (not first game in the series)
Tekken 3
God of War (2018)
Mortal Kombat 9
Devil May Cry 3
Virtua Fighter 4

Luigis Mansion 3 doesn’t really belong in that list because the first game was great and it’s sequels didn’t really redefine the series.

FreeckyCake1544d ago

Onimusha 2
but hey, we can make 1k improved sequel if we keep going on 😂

After Assassin’s Creed III, these 7 Ubisoft games need a remaster

There’s more to Ubisoft’s back catalogue than its Templar-bothering flagship franchise and we’re here to prove it. By grovelling for remasters, of course.
