Star Ocean should be three games. Part 1 (disc 1) part 2 (disc 2) part 3 (disc 3). LOL thats so lame and I had no idea Blue Dragon was already on three discs. SUCKS TO HAVE A 360 NOW.

Shadow Man5620d ago (Edited 5620d ago )

Your NOT getting the game loser so why do you care? No 360 fan has a problem with it only droids do because is not coming to the ps3.

RAF-TECH5620d ago

this wont be comming to the PS3.
end of story

kodiak5620d ago

Feel sorry for PS3 fanboys
Its a 360 exclusive and they are talking about 360 discs
LOL

No Way5620d ago (Edited 5620d ago )

Hmmm. Deal with 3 discs or no RPGs.
So, yup, easy choice for me.
Besides swapping discs means nothin to me, it doesn't bother me the least.

Damn, the multiple discs seem to annoy and bother PS3 fans more so than the x360 fans.. weird. ^_^

I'll pick up Star Ocean 2 and 4 for the next spring.

ruibing5620d ago

I'll pick up the two Star Ocean PSP remakes together when the second gets released. I want to finish the two and then do the third on the PS2.

LokMessier5620d ago

I see almost nothing that really interests me, since I stopped playing Kingdom Hearts after II, though I'd like for Dissidia sometime soon -.-'

No Way5620d ago

garbage as usual. nothing of importance has come from square-enix since the ps1 era. (therefore star ocean 2 for psp is good)

What Da Duce5620d ago

There has been plenty great games put out by SE since the PS1. They might not be to your taste but they are still really good games.

Square is nothing more than a system prostitue. They will go to where the money is. Right now it is the 360.

Remeber though, these games that are coming out on MS probably had plans to be on a PS3. This would be why we have to suffer the multi-disc issue again in this next-gen gaming world. (Wouldn't have happened if it had stuck to Sony.)

Panthers5620d ago

They havent made one great game this gen. Maybe when FFXIII games come out we will see some, but I am doubting them.

zag5620d ago

The problem though is that they are trying to sell games to people who probably aren't even interested in buying their games, the US game market is the largest but that means nothing if the people in that market don't buy it.

For example 90% of total japan people would love manga movies, where as it's probably only 2% of total US people would hate manga.

look at the movies They do 3d cartoons now for US movies, where as manga movies don't even get a look in.

Yet Square enix is going to find it hard or change way too much for their core Jap market just to get extra market share in the US, I think MS has sold them a silly idea that the 360 will have loads of sales, even though their own insider market sales are saying otherwise.

I think square enix trying to get into the US market is a lost cause waste of time and money for a market that as a whole probably isn't even interested in bother with their games in the first place.

PlayStation Plus is a secret paradise for RPG fans

From games that digitaltrends DeAngelo Epps has always wanted to play but missed out on, like Odin Sphere, to newer titles that he'd love to re-experience like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, there was enough there to justify diving back in. And those titles aren’t even a small percent of what’s available here. Vanillaware titles, Square Enix games, NIS franchises he’d never even heard of — there’s a whole lot to dig into.

PSPlus is Amazing for RPGs and NIS America, Square Enix and Vanillaware games are perfect for PSPortal.

LG_Fox_Brazil150d ago

Not really a 'secret' but a paradise indeed, I just finished Soul Hackers 2, pretty good, and started Labyrinth of Galleria and I am having a blast. Tons of great RPGs in the PS4/PS5 family

Mr_cheese150d ago

Secret is the click buzzword. Can't have a title without bait these days.

Perfect for playing on the Portal, since rpgs can be such timesinks. For those people who can't stay glued to the TV, it's good to give some freedom around the house, out on the porch or whatever. I haven't picked up a Portal yet, bc of life priorities, but I definitely anticipate picking one up asap and playing more rpgs!

ziggyzinfirion150d ago

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy VII:Remake for the first time on PS5 and I am freaking blown away by this game so far. I don't know why I waited this long or due to my huge backlog but had to be honest, this game exceeded my expectations.

OtterX150d ago

Yea, story pacing aside, the combat system is pretty killer, especially if you slow it down to play it more like a tactical turned based jrpg!

I actually wish FF16 had gone this route, instead of the DMC route. The FF7:R system gave enough action for those who wanted to play that way, while still appeasing us old school turn based jrpg fans.

Glad you're enjoying!

crazyCoconuts150d ago

Some of the best in game HDR I've ever seen in that game. I liked it a lot too. My first final fantasy game believe it or not
