Holy crap MM!, that is the best and most innovated website I have seen in a long time.

With all the Excitement for Shenmue, TLG, HorizonZd and people pouring tears over FF7r, I felt that Dreams has been very underrated.

A lot of people couldn't even believe that what they were seeing, was actually a jacked up LBP.

Imagine the Games we will be able to create with Dreams!?

Rimeskeem3197d ago

I bet someone will make a Crash and Spyro

SmokingMonkey3197d ago

I have been planning to make another Venture Brothers themed "Dream"/level, mashed with The Office.

Going to start story boarding a plot now actually.

Then I gotta get a Whilhelm scream....

Thats because people dont know what to make of it. I still cant imagine how you are actually going to create a game with Dreams.

Either Im thinking too deep into it or its something really sick futuristic stuff.

And I dont honestly care if its an amazing *game* or not because its still going to be an amazing tool. Those demo videos were crazy good and I can see a massive tool potential in Dreams.

Concertoine3196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

Im just going to make the most nightmarish, hellish images. People won't sleep once they journey into my dreams >:)

I wonder if they'll censor all the screwing a celebrity or giving birth to insect dreams.

I really need to know more about this game before I can get excited. Like FF7, yep, just give me it. But when a game has a concept that's so out there as dreams is, I need to know what it is a little bit because it could be a massive bomb.

This is the nextgen LBP! I am glad to see Mm stepping into a new realm of awe inspired wonder. I am so excited to step into this world of dreams..!!

I cannot wait to hear more about this amazing looking game.

SmokingMonkey3196d ago

Yes, I can't wait to see what single player is going to be like?!

GregMicek3197d ago

Looks cool, but I'm not sure how this story didn't get reported.

Hope you don't have to use the light bar and can just use the analogue sticks

Hate being forced into gimmicks, big or small

SmokingMonkey3196d ago

This whole deal confuses me as well. At first they showed Dreams would use the Move controller, now they have switched to the DS4 and light bar for 'sculpting'

I totally agree, I hope for Analog stick build controls and perhaps some Touchpad options?

Bathyj3196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

I think gimmick is the wrong word. I dont see this as shoehorning motion controls in somewhere it doesnt fit at all.

Sculpting a clay model in a 3D space is going to be way more intuitive with motion controls than with analog sticks. I know its hard to unlearn everything we've already learnt, but try not to judge it based on every other game youve played where they used motion controls just to use them.

This looks to me like it will be used because its actually better.

-Foxtrot3196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

Still though if you are being forced to play it like that then you'd be limiting your audience

Options are always fun...Nintendo failed to learn this with their Wii Mote and even Game Pad
