This concept of “standalone” downloadable compliments to previously released games is something I could happily see more of. FarCry 3 had the delightfully silly Blood Dragon, there was a lot of love for The Last of Us’ Left Behind addition, and now Wolfenstein: The New Order has an accomplished prequel adventure in The Old Blood. Set before the attack on General Deathshead’s compound in the original game, this game details B.J. Blazkowicz’s mission to retrieve the nefarious antagonist’s location from the hands of mad archaeologist Helga Von Schabbs. It’s a damn good time, and it also has zombies in it.
The genre-defining battle royale experience headlines this month's PS Now update, along with Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Formula 1 2019.

Let's look at how it started, how it's changed & why I'm concerned for its future."
