GamesRadar - 'Deluxe Edition', 'Complete Edition', 'HD Remaster' - these days it seems like it's impossible to browse through the new release listings without tripping over handfuls of pre-existing titles that have been repackaged in one form or another. So far, a significant chunk of the new-gen's most highly-anticipated games have been re-releases, remakes or remasters of successful games from years gone by. But why do we have such a fascination with games we've already played, and is it always healthy for the industry?
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.

To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
I find it funny that people complaint about remastered games, yet they have been buying COD every year.
The issue is very easy to resolve though. Do you want a remastered game? Then buy it. Don't like remastered games? Then don't buy it, but don't try to stop them just because you don't want them.
How many times has this question be asked/answered?
Where's my Max Payne 3 remaster?
If they sell well, they were justified.
