DualShockers delves in Assassin's Creed Unity after the biggest patch (so far), and passes final judgement on whether the game is worth playing.
I'm waiting a few more patches before I think about buying.. I hope they get rid of the locked loot chests. that really takes you out of the game
You have no idea how much this annoy me too What the hell was Ubisoft thinking by doing that ?! Anyway, Just finished Assassin's Creed Rogue ..and it's just far better to me Didn't have good time with Unity
Rogue has that been there done that before for feeling. sailing has been in ac3 and black flag. I was hoping that unity would bring something else to the table or at least go back to its roots
It's a brilliant game.Playing it now.But yeah the performance and bugs and the GLITCHES are insane. It's a broken good game.
If reviewer would stop kissing Publishers' asses for releasing broken games and praising the patches to fix them, that would be great!
There should never be post patch reviews...review the game they've made for launch
Can't believe you're getting disagrees. Apparently, kids these days love broken games and a broken review system. Unity isnt an MMO and does not deserve praise for doing what they should have prior to launch. How about delay your broken game so this type of a$$ kissing is unnecessary. Can't wait to read the patch 2.2 reviews /s
I agree with you. Games should not be broken on launch day; it's absolutely ridiculous. Ubisoft needs to be held accountable for these things or they will keep pushing out broken games and patching them after release. I don't think that's the direction we want the industry to go in.
Why not review a game post patch? I mean, the news got out pretty big that the game was pretty hampered before the patch, and the people who luckily heard about that before purchasing probably waited for reviews just like this..
how about NOT to encourage people to buy the game at all?
Welcome to next gen, where post-patch reviews and delay polish are a thing.
don't blame the next gen consoles though as patches has been on pc for way longer and not to forget that unity run like crap on PC too.
For certain games, like WOW, Diablo 3, Everquest, Final Fantasy XI and XIV, yearly reviews could make sense as the game can drastically change over that span of time. For a game like Assassin's Creed though, I think not.
