So a golfer, a ninja, Indiana Jones, and the Hulk walk into a living room...

Globe & Mail game reporter wears his "thumbs to their nubs" playing Ninja Gaiden, Lego Indy, The Hulk, and Hot Shots Golf. From the story:

"Ninja Gaiden II opens with an attack on a ridiculously large-breasted female warrior, then quickly turns into a spectacular blood bath in which limbs, heads, and bits of flesh fly around the screen like chunks of vegetables in the kitchen of an overzealous chef.

After less than five minutes of play I stopped to survey the carnage I'd wrought. The roof of the Tokyo skyscraper my ninja was standing on was soaked in blood and littered with body parts. One of my enemies, tendrils of flesh hanging from his leg stumps, was trying to crawl toward me in what I interpreted as a gruesome parody of the limbless knight scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail..."

I dislike the LEGO games after the first one I played. They are just cut and paste with a new skin- My son liked them so we had a few over the years .Star Wars, Lord of the Rings , Batman but after the first it just felt like an extension of the first game on an endless loop

SegaGamer2086d ago

They are ok games, but every single one of them are basically the same. I enjoyed Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 and then the complete collection, but every other one after that has just been the same thing and it got a little dull.

NecrumOddBoy2086d ago

Lego Harry Potter should be on this list

My son loves these games

had a lot more fun with Lego Marvel Superheroes than any other lego game.

Might be partly due to the fact there wasn't a lot else to play on my new PS4 when it came out

hulk: ultimate destruction was and is the best hulk game till this day. maybe insomniac can work on hulk after spidey? I wish

P_Bomb2160d ago

Agreed. I still throw it on now and again. Huge comic book gallery in there. Those are the kinda collectibles I enjoyed collecting. Practical things you can look at later, not just orbs/shards/feathers.

That game desperately needs to be apart of the OG Xbox BC line up
