Vector Unit Clearly knows what it is doing when it comes to racing on water with gyroscopic controls. Both of their “racing” games that take place on water (this game and Riptide GP) control fantastically. When we reviewed Riptide GP we gave it high marks for its controls and for an overall solid experience but took points off because it lacked multiplayer of any sort beyond leaderboards. Still, we were highly impressed with Riptide GP and began to look forward to a water racing game by Vector Unit that had multiplayer. Shine Runner takes place on water but it isn’t the game we were looking for, but that doesn’t mean it is completely lacking of value.
