I still can't believe there hasn't been a Tim Burton Batsuit yet in any of the Arkham games. Personally, I'd rather have the Batsuit from Batman Returns over the original.

There are so many other super heroes that could use a good game.
A good superman game by Rocksteady would be quite appealing, i have to admit.
While true. I do expect Rocksteady to stick with what works for now and expand on it bit by bit. Possibly more in the DC universe as Activision is working on Spiderman. I do expect Superman could get a good game at some point as well. Not sure if by Rocksteady.
Rocksteady has something that has been cooking under wraps. I have high hopes for it as they are a really great studio. Even if its not Batman related it has a real chance of going somewhere.
If they took the idea of what Lego Batman 2 did in expanding into the wider DC universe that would be welcome I have to say.
I want a huge open world Gotham with the Batwing and Batmobile available to mess around in.
I want Rocksteady to keep making Bman games for a while, but I admit, I could use a "good" Spider-man game at some point. I hate that Beenox still own the rights. Their games suck.
I hope it's massive in terms of size, big enough I can drive the Batmobile round for ages and still find new palces to explore....or maybe the BatWing
Anyway hopefully it will be a step up for the franchises since Arkham Origins failed to do that
Yeah, that's exactly what i had in mind. Speeding through Gotham City in the Batmobile. Oh man that would be epic.
I actually really liked Arkham Origins, although the story was way too short. The boss battles were epic though.
And they need to use the Bat-family. It's downright shameful we've only played as Catwoman in some off shoot of the main game.
I'm with you, Lukas. Ever since I saw Gotham City in the far distance of Arkham Asylum and the sheer scope of Gotham City outside the confinements of Arkham City (from the top of Wonder Tower), I've been waiting for Rocksteady to open it up completely. It seemed like a logically step in the right direction for the franchise. I don't care how good people think Origins is. As far as I'm concerned, if it's not from Rocksteady, it doesn't count. The game was a move in the wrong direction and a play from Activision's COD playbook. It's Rocksteady's baby and nobody else should be allowed to touch it. Period.
We should be past "Arkham" by now. Bring on Gotham City. I can only imagine a next-gen, open-world Batman game at this point.
Unless it's a complete overhaul, no thanks. Arkham Asylum was amazing and fresh. AC was more of the same, but had the open world touch. AO is a complete boring chore. The combat is just so repetitive and predictable that the series is already becoming tiresome after a few entries.
Rocksteady only made the first two games. The third sounds like a cash-in so far.
Hopefully they create a new engine or add some more new mechanics to the gameplay.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the gameplay, I'm just saying I want some more new stuff for the gameplay.
Ok, we finally get a superhero franchise that is worth being mentioned among any other game in the industry. Let's not turn it into a yearly thing. I know WB only did Origins because Rocksteady was bust, but still.

If this were like a PS Vita prequel, Id be ok with a new dev, but a sequel to Arkham City has to be done by Rock Steady or there's no chance in hell it'll be near the quality they would have made it themselves
But it's not supposed to be a sequel to the Arkham games. The rumor says it's based on the Silver Age Batman, so it's a different style. I'll wait and see before writing this off, it could be interesting.
meh silver age kinda combines great creations , but mostly the very worst of Batman (as with most dc and marvel franchises anyway) .

If Rocksteady isn't doing it I wonder who is. Also what is Rocksteady working on? I have to admit I would like to see them tackle a few other comic book universes after seeing the incredible work they did on the Batman franchise.
Arkham city is on my list of all time favorite games, but i agree it wont be the same without rocksteady.
