Xbox Live members should be getting better games imo

NYC_Gamer3649d ago (Edited 3649d ago )

That would be really expensive for MS to pay publishers for the right of 360 owners to download and keep the game...That's why GwG on X1 needs to be like PS+ with rentals of new software every month.

Kayant3649d ago (Edited 3649d ago )

As I have always said I wished MS copied the IGC model it would really make me consider paying for gold again because I know the titles will be better.

-Ghost3649d ago

Yeah true. They should go the rental route.

CJDUNCAN3649d ago

don't go the rental route. without xbox gold, the games we get are still ours. going the rental route that's not the case anymore.

badz1493649d ago

@CJDUNCAN

sure let's us all play Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3 for the 700th time when we don't have Gold! /s

Better than this?

These games are both excellent!

GarrusVakarian3649d ago (Edited 3649d ago )

What? This is probably the best month of the service since it started, imo.

@InMyOpinion

Yeah yeahhh, we know, it's not as good as 'that other similar service'. But this service has gotten better and better each month. You can' deny that.

-Ghost3649d ago

My fault. It's pretty good. I wasn't aware that you get to keep the game which is awesome.

Freeball3649d ago

Yes, good month for GwG, but they need to stop responding and get proactive in winning back gamers. Instead of trying to match PS Plus (which they haven't yet, but getting closer), beat it for a few months and get people to notice.

badz1493649d ago

@Freeball

Getting closer? LOL

oakshin3649d ago

its got better i agree but thats becuz every month 360 games get older and older im guessing xbox is at a crossroads with how there going to do this on xb1

Good games.

from the beach3649d ago

Quick look at Metacritic would suggest these are very good games - I haven't played either but I'll check them out.

MS is doing it right.

amazinglover3649d ago

Dust is a very good game differently worth the try and Saints Row 3 is in many ways a better game then Saints 4 so for those who haven't played it your in for a real treat. I agree with some the games selection isn't the best but who cares since they are some what free since gold is required which does cost money.

TXIDarkAvenger3649d ago

These are actually the best games MS has put out for free so far.

LexHazard793648d ago

I already have Dust. Will give SRThird a go. Not complaining at all, Free is Free. Here take it, do you want one? Hey you over there and you over there eating that burger you want a free game?

Bundi3649d ago

I have not played either of these games, so getting to play them for free is awesome. So far only 2 out of 28 have been games that I already owned.

sage123649d ago

I'm definitely interested in Dust, but this is another disappointing month. Still no X1 games with gold.. great

NYC_Gamer3649d ago

That is most likely an announcement saved for E3

sak5003649d ago

When did you start getting 360 games for free? Think about it and also see i'ts just been few months and people are still buying the launch titles albeit at discounted rates. It's not that there are 100s of titles already out there that they can offer something for free.

Not that i wouldn't x1 games free as well but think logically. I would even prefer rental for x1.

maniacmayhem3649d ago

Pretty cool, I have never played Dust but it looks fantastic and I heard Saints 3 was bat sh*t insane. I'll check that out too.

Slightly disappointing game but Wo Long had a good creator. I was impressed by Oblivion back in what 05, 06? But the worst i have ever seen, clearly, Valheim.

ModsDoBetter362d ago

What was up with Wo Long?

Not looked at any reviews and did download it on my Xbox before I sold the console but never got around to playing it. Saw it drop in price on PS5 and was thinking of picking it up.

RE: Character creation

Oblivion hold a special place for me, when it came out on PS3, it was the first game of its kind that I had played and the character creator took was amazing.

I do like Monster Hunter: World & FFXIV, personally.
Cyberpunk did good in that department, despite its numerous flaws.

IamTylerDurden1362d ago

I played Oblivion day 1 on 360 and was impressed with the creator. Damn near 20 yrs ago, it was impressive at the time. Special game, unfortunately 90% of current gamers on social media have not a clue about the older stuff. Elder Scrolls is just Skyrim to many. They know not of Gothic and the old guard that paved the way. Flimsy ass rhetoric and recycled opinions about the same bs is what garners attention. Meme culture. Insight and intellect hold no place on the current day internet. Fuck likes, follows, BS. I say what i believe is relevant, what i'm interested in, and following means fuck all bc i don't respect 99% of the ppl online anyway.

For the "TLDR" bs. I'ma not space it out on purpose. Fuck you very much folks.

isarai363d ago (Edited 363d ago )

Honestly the one I remember being easiest and flexible enough to make any character I imagined was the PS2 WWE games, and Saints Row 2. I did really enjoy Dragons dogmas character creation too

IamTylerDurden1362d ago (Edited 362d ago )

I was gonna mention Black Desert but the game is horrible so...

Creator was the best part.

Lol CP 2077 is one of the easiest and less detailed editors around. It's all a mish-mash of presets.

Honorable mention to Drive Clubs Ferrari Fxx-K. Should be there over Horizon.

The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series

Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground

Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3

And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2

Gardenia467d ago

I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.

dumahim467d ago

No one liked the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. Top 10?

toxic-inferno467d ago

I don't know... It was a strange addition to the game, and the parts of the game where you had to fight in it were tedious. But driving it around Gotham felt brilliant.
