They can make it, but they can't use the license; They would have to make a random game with the mechanics. unless they are able to pull the NCAA license, which I doubt they would do, because they do not want the same fiasco as what happened to EA.

Next year we will see next gen sports titles. Everything now is being developed side by side with current gen.

MLB the Show next year for PS4 will be the beginning of next gen sports if you ask me but 2k14 for PS4/XB1 is looking good also.

I shudder to think what will be done on the PS4 with that title. The Show was the first title I bought for my PS3. Only skipped the last two iterations.

Besides that, the animation look like current gen. EA next gen games (first outings mind you) look like crap and seems to be a tradition.

Just not impressed with these graphics, I'm not seeing much of a jump. Even the sub-surface light scattering on the skin mentioned in the video isn't as realistic looking as it is in other next gen games.

No because every year they add to the game & while the hardcore continue to pre-order they're Ps4's & Xbox Ones the vast majority will not be upgrading there consoles next year so it makes sense for EA keep the cost down while still keeping there fans .

Where is the PS4 / Xbox 1 versions.... every other game that's going to be released in November, is showing trailers, and giving info on their game, but there has been NOTHING from Madden 25. They're just going to put some crap on the shelf and we're just going to give up 60 dollars. I rather throw 60 dollars in the trash than use it to purchase a Madden.

It looks better then last gen, but that isn't saying much.

They are putting alot more effort then they did into the first Madden on 360, but it looks lackluster because they've been doing everything to the same scale for so many years. Needlessly.

Oh they're manning up with (if nothing has changed behind the scenes) having Madden 25 for PS4/XB1 be full featured as compared to Madden 360 which was a joke. But they dropped the ball on next gen sports graphics limiting themselves only to the 360/PS3/Wii all these years.

This is why on the sports front they are seriously lacking with next gen sports games.

They actually said that. They could of made a more powerful version in 2008,09,10,11,12 if they wanted to. 2k did.

EA Sports USED to make PC games. If they had continued doing so after Madden '08 (so 2007), then they would have been able to do better then this on PC years ago. Like 2010. Now they have all this additional power and are at square one.

This shows why NOT making PC games has left their 1st iteration next gen sports games looking like crap. EA sports hasn't had to deal with how a sports game should look with more power. They haven't had all the years of making HD sports games like 2k has.

To be fair they increased the motion capture technology a few times so players would look more lifelike. But that's not better graphics or new features based on the additional power.

Look at the 2K sports games on PC. They look alot better then this and have for years. I concur with others that 2K next gen sports games on consoles should start out looking pretty sweet. It's because they kept pushing the bar every year. The effects of all these years of stagnation is very apparent in Madden 25 for PS4/Xbox One.

I'm looking to get the PS4 version, but I'm not sold on it yet. Only because it has been many years since I bought a Madden.

Used to buy every year from Madden '92 to Madden 360. Genesis, SNES, N64, PC, 360. But by then they had stopped trying on the PC version, and once they canned that a couple years later it's just been stagnation. The physics change is really the only thing you can say was a decent change the whole generation and it just popped up last year and was probably their stepping stone to this generation.
