I recently finished the bad ass DLC and while it was good its not as good as the main game or the standard DLC set from the 1st game

They said they were gonna raise the level caps by a lot in march so waiting on that and the 4th DLC pack. Gearbox also said they may even do more DLC after the initial 4 so hopefully more thought will be out into that

I liked the 1st borderlands a lot more and with each DLC it improved. The weapons in 1st game were a lot easier to get but with borderlands 2 it's like you have to grind and beat a boss 10 times just to get a good loot. I am at level 45 and have yet to come across one good weapon and I started my 2nd play through on the high difficulty option where enemies rise to your level

I like machine guns and have yet to find one good one

It seems like the gam is filled with Smg,shotguns, sniper rifles but not a lot of good machine guns with high damage fire rate and big clip

Or maybe I am doing something wrong

1st game was a lot more straight forward and most fetch quests but the rewards were better IMO atleast

The thing that annoys me the most is how the stats progress in the second. It seems like rare weapons are good for maybe 3-5 levels before a simple white weapon is better. I remember a yellow weapon from the first game last me through nearly 10 levels.

Also I think you are correct about the drop rates of rares being much lower in the new game. I remember finding a rares pretty often in the first game. In the second game I found maybe 2 rares per play through that were worth using.

Yep its also due to the fact of there is like fuck all chests in the game..... I agree as well Borderlands 1 for me and in my opinion was way better then 2. I really love the idea of raiding each day but i wish there was a single player version because not everyone has 3 other people to play with /foreveralone....

Part of me thinks they got lucky with borderlands 1 because the lack of ANY loot based games on console.

Nice. I just got the game.

Part of me wishes they would bring armor into the new games... Yes yes i have heard all the excuses it will take away from the guns yada yada yada but NO it will add to replay-ability if they put time into the idea. Like fuck when you get max level i would love to grind or redo a boss stage whatever to find a piece of a set armor or whatever. It will make me want to play instead of it being in my steam list unplayed since awhile.

I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.

No one liked the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. Top 10?

toxic-inferno466d ago

I don't know... It was a strange addition to the game, and the parts of the game where you had to fight in it were tedious. But driving it around Gotham felt brilliant.
