2012 was a year that Nintendo needed to be monumental. With the harsh reception of the 3DS due to lack of software and price, and the launch of a new console, Nintendo had a lot of ground to cover in only a year. The Wii U has officially launched, and the 3DS XL has been introduced to try and help the 3DS market. 2013 is a year that could very well make or break Nintendo.
Hanzala from eXputer: "As Nintendo takes out 20 years' worth of stuff from Garry's Mod, I watch in shock, thinking why it continues to hurt and discourage its fans."
The irony that some of the most disgusting business practices come from companies like Disney or Nintendo, i can't even begin to understand what terrible damage was Garrys Mod making to Nintendo bottom line, imho they're getting pretty nervous about where they're heading in the future, handhelds are no longer something exclusive to Nintendo, from Steam Deck to many others, now you can play the latest games and pay a fraction of the price on Steam sales, so it's up to their exclusives, which just on their own would make hard to justify purchasing a closed overpriced hardware with outrageous price policies (Super Mario Odyssey is still 60 euro 6 years later!), and as a home console they're always underperforming compared to Sony or Xbox.
Look at how they handled Nintendo games being streamed or uploaded on YouTube in the past. They killed Yuzu and Citra even when they had nothing to do with ToTK being leaked, not to mention it was basically unplayable on emulation the week it was leaked. Smash Bros tournament, that was fairly recent. They shut down their online services without any care for purchases made. I bought a switch after skipping their last 2 consoles and handhelds but I don't plan on buying anything Nintendo in the future. They take things to the extremes, they legitimately hate their fans. They're honestly right up there with the likes of Acti, EA, and Ubi, only difference is that they disguise themselves as being family friendly all the while being shady.
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
I want EU version Monster Hunter 4 and Dragon Quest VII remake 3DS!
WiiU:
Bayonetta 2.
Xenoblade 2(Monolith Soft other AAA jrpg).
Exklusive Final Fantasy WiiU.
I am looking at the Final Fantasy exclusive to Wii U that would be bad ass. But seriously.....can we get a new IP Nintendo?
You'd think that after 3 decades of milking classics Nintendo would realize that the 20th game is bad enough; but the thought of them now re-releasing the majority of those games is almost unbearable.
OoT HD would be great, I think most people would agree. But the guaranteed success of that just means Wind Waker HD, Mario Kart 1-7 HD, etc. All good games but the thought of that is UNBEARABLE.
PLEASE keep doing what you're currently doing Nintendo, milk current successful franchises with sequels AND gain the desperately needed third party support. This could work.
This is getting old. The 3ds is not getting a second stick revision. Not enough games use a second stick to warrant one... unless there are dozens of secret games using it right now in development.
People have been asking for/talking about such a revision less and less lately for a reason: it is incredibly unlikely at this point, and will most likely never be.
@yangus
I think we will see monhun 4 in 2014, since we are getting 3U in March.
GTA5 is heavy for a CPU. It will not be released for da WiiU.
