Tribes Ascend Review - Australian Gamer

The three descriptors that sum up Tribes: Ascend are fast, focused, and free to play. It's easy to see that a lot of effort has gone into recreating the Tribes feel, but at the same time Hi-Rez have made something new. While it is different to Tribes 2 in many ways, Tribes: Ascend manages to maintain that sense of camaraderie and flow that veterans love, while having a low level of entry.

Hi-Rez gives Tribes: Ascend an "Out of the Blue" Update

Back in March of 2013, Hi-Rez broke the news to its Tribes: Ascend fans that they would need to take several months away from the game in order to focus all its efforts on SMITE. Several months became more than two years, and fans were beginning to believe that Hi-Rez would simply never return to Tribes.
