A man lies tied to a hospital gurney, blood seeping through his bandages. He can't remember how he got there, or for that matter, who he is. But something is wrong. He struggles against the restraints, scared and confused. Suddenly, a blinding light waves over the straps, and he's freed. Just what the hell is going on here?
As consoles go, the Gamecube is pretty underrated, so it stands to reason that a lot of its games are too.
Without doubt for me it would be Eternal Darkness, one of the best videogames ever made IMO.
Paper Mario Thousand Year Door is just incredible, I really hope Nintendo will do a remaster or remake of it.
Big fan of Gotcha Force. A true hidden gem that rarely gets mentioned. It played a lot like Federation Vs. Zeon which is one or my favorite PS2 games.
No Paper Mario, Geist, or Eternal Darkness is surprising. Games like Second Sight can at least be played on other platforms, but some of those games are exceedingly expensive (should you want to play them on original hardware). I've got a handful of them, but Gotcha Force will sadly never end up in my collection at $700 for a CIB copy.
THQ Nordic continues to delight fans of old toys! This time, Second Sight from Free Radical Design which was released on PC back in 2005, is now back on Steam.
Well that's a pleasant surprise. Maybe we can get Psi-ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy on there soon too.
This was actually a really good game back in the day. Shame Free Radical were never able to make a sequel to it.
Very nice! I bought the disc version about 8 years ago only to be told it's not compatible with modern windows.
Ownership over several titles gets shuffled in THQ Nordic and Koch Media arrangement. Potential remasters, sequels, ports, and more on the horizon.
Both THQ and Koch Media are owned by the same larger company, the Embracer Group. I’m not sure why the publishing rights would need to be swapped.
I hope they release risen on switch It's a underrated game all so
I was actually a bigger fan of Midway's Psi-Ops.
Either way both games were great fun and definitely deserve some love (and possibly a sequel!)
Who owns the rights to Second Sight? Wouldn't it be Crytek UK?
second sight was AWESOME and the ending was one of the best I've seen yet
I played and beat this on my brother's Xbox a long time ago. Such an amazing game, and the ending was mind-blowing. A sequel would be great. John Vattic ftw lol.
Underrated gem!
