G3 gives its first impressions of the Xbox Live game show title for the Xbox 360.
Excerpt: "Overall despite being stuck in the crowd all night I did have fun. The people beside me who were within voice chat range of me were cool so I enjoyed talking with them and being a bit competitive I did try my hardest to make it to the Mob or the 1. Even if you are a casual player though I think you will enjoy this game. As the crowd you still do feel like you are participating and like I said I enjoy 1 vs. 100 when it is on TV so it's even better getting to actually watch it and participate as a crowd member. Another thing is not only do the top 3 crowd members win prizes but the more questions you answer, the more entries you get for the sweepstakes they hold, so everyone has a chance to be a winner."
It's been a little bit since we last heard about a possible 1 vs. 100 revival on Xbox Series X|S, but Xbox still hasn't done anything to discourage the rumors. If it does come back though, will it actually be able to outlast the original?
During Fanfest, Spencer said that that they were planning a fan fest trivia, and the entire team was working on the project. However, it didn't turn out the way they wanted. He continued saying we are still planning to do something... "maybe we should even be building our own trivia game like from our past and allow people to play a trivia game more often. Maybe that could happen."
Yes 100%. Loved even the possibility of rewards and playing with friends online is so important during these times , 1vs100 was great.
Chris writes: "With the release of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout this week, it's time for the return of the Battle Royale MVP. It's time for 1 vs 100 to make its return."
this 100%!!!! they could put it on gamespass even if that would be what they have to do.
Man, this was that type of quality app that made the 360 shine back in the day. This was crazy fun
I see this becoming addicting when released.
i wonder about the logistics of it, i mean what if 2 million peopkle wanted to play all at once? how would that work??? Does look good tho, cant wait to try it for myself
even though we didn't get to take the prizes on friday, its was a blast to play with a few buddies. i can see the possible problem with millions let alone the 10,000 that were playing the beta. at one point it seemed like a bug in the system as it was resetting itself every couple of minutes.
sez MS doesnt innovate? This look really fun, and even has the potential to draw in more of that lucrative "casual" market.
The only problem I also see is what to do about those armed with a "special weapon"...in other words, playing with laptop right beside me with Google to feed me all the answers....lol
