I think they're trying to maintain the look of the original trilogy. I guess he was expecting the opening of ROTS with lens flares and shiny CGI. You know, overdone and lacking any charm.

If you want a space dogfight game just play Star Conflict from the creators of War Thunder. It's pretty damn awesome. I would be very surprised if the Star Wars game is better than Star Conflict, especially since...Area 52 who the f--- are they? Isn't Star Wars a big enough franchise to give to a quality proven developer?
