Well finally the new Super Smash Bros game has been revealed and is on it’s way to Nintendo’s new console the Wii U, with a brilliant looking lineup of characters and some great new entries like Mega man the game is shaping to be a classic once it’s released. But what if we had a choice of who goes in the game, no matter if it’s linked to Nintendo or not, who would you choose?
We made a small list of 4 characters that we would love to see in the new game and that we also think would fit into the franchise really well.
In a relatively short time, Generation VI's Ninja Pokémon has become wildly popular, outpacing nearly 900 other Pokemon.
While some Smash fans may have hoped for a more recognizable character, Super Smash Bros. as a whole has borrowed so much from SNK games that Terry is a natural fit. In fact, an SNK character probably should have been included much earlier.
Super Smash Bros. didn’t just emerge, fully formed, as a way for Nintendo to keep contemporary characters in the front of our minds while introducing newer players to classic characters, games, and even music. The series owes a lot to SNK, and The King of Fighters.
When Super Smash Bros. Creator, Masahiro Sakurai, showcased Smash Ultimate's latest guest fighter, Terry Bogard, he brought up the fact that one of Fatal Fury's most popular characters, Mai Shiranui, would not be making an appearance in the game at all and alluded to her sexual nature as the main reason.
It turns out that Sakurai and his team had a bit of a back and forth with CERO during the development of Super Smash Bros. for Wii-U circa 2012 as the rating organization actually asked the Smash team to turn female characters upside down for panty shot angles.
Well now it makes sense why some of the character clothes in smash Bros was changed
Censors? CERO isn't a censorship organization. It's a rating board and it's no more censors than the ESRB.
They don't ask you to censor your game. They give you a rating depending on its content, no more, no less. If you want a lower rating than what you're given, that's on you.
That would be an interesting job duty, even if it’s in the name of censorship. Someone was literally paid to do a panty check on female characters, lulz.
Games will show muscle men's nips, but God forbid a quick glimpse of princess Peach's vagina. Hypocrisy!!!
Conker would be off the charts.
Mike Tyson?
or maybe just that little guy that fights him.
(Lil' Mac).
Not too fond of this list sorry.
. Conker is owned by Rare who's owned by Microsoft..so it's not even fun to imagine him in.
Little Mac before Glass Joe...he's the face of a franchise.
James Bond was apparently going to appear in Playstation All Stars and honestly even though the old games were great his tenure as a game character as of recently has been weak. ANd I speak for myself probably but I don't care about having someone who is prominently a movie character in a game about beloved game characters duking it out.
Rayman is possible but given the fact that the last game went from Wii U exclusive to multiplatform I'm not sure how keen Nintendo would be on adding him to the list..I would honestly feel quite slighted by Ubisoft but hey who knows..it's publicity. He could very well show up
I wish Speculation would be directed toward more exclusive series characters as Nintendo has said they're not very keen on adding 3rd party characters.
I'd like Bowser Jr. , K. Rool, Ridley, a new female POKEMON trainer, Chrom(or your character from Fire Emblem Awakening), Krystal, Waluigi, Toad, Miis, Paper Mario, Ghirahim, Magnus or Palutena and Professor E. Gad.
This just makes me want a new punch out now.
I want nabbit in the next Smash bros
