Central to pretty much every big video game these days is a likeable main character. For example, Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series is a wise cracking adventurer who shoots bad guys and steals treasure, while at the same time, manages to stay alive even after multiple gun shot wounds and insane falls.

You need a reason to fight the good fight. In video games, some of the best antagonists have been female perpetrators.
Final Fantasy 16 is taking the series in a new direction, but it still appears to be taking some effective inspiration from past games.
I liked it a lot, I will not compare it with other final fantasy, But I hadn't felt that emotion for a long time playing since the final fantasy vll remake, it lacks some things, it's not my goty, but it deserves a place in my heart, with that I say everything.
God of War's forgotten multiplayer mode was introduced nearly a decade ago, but it may have been a great addition if it was implemented now.
Not saying it was perfect but I really enjoyed it. One of the more unique MP experiences. Wouldn't mind them trying again.
Two great choices in that pic alone.
I don't terribly connect with many of the modern day leading characters.
Snake is pretty awesome. But which one? There are too many Snake forms. Platformers are fun too, Jak, Daxter, Ratchet, Clank, Sly. All great characters.
Solid Snake.
He's just badass
I have many:
Ratchet, Link, Nathan Drake, recently KAT and Raven(my favorite characters this generation), Luigi,John Marston,Sly, Daxter, and the cute Sackboy(second favorite character this gen)
