2010 has been a good year for Racing Game enthusiasts. Not only have some great sim/realism style racers come out, but we have actually had quite a few good arcade racers released as well, and even some Kart racers. This year looks like there is a lot of competition for the upcoming 28th annual Golden Joystick Awards. This year there is something for everyone, though it should be noted that there is at least one glaring omission from this years nominees. This years list of Nominees is still a great lineup of racers. In this article we will look at the titles nominated and even get a video intro for each.

Today Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson provided a look into his ideas for the use of generative AI in the company's development processes.
EA is still a shady shitty company even with or without the help of Skynet. All they will use AI for is new ways to milk loot boxes and come up with the same sports title with a different year on the label. They are one company I truly do hate with a passion. They single handedly ruined some great franchise with their death touch. ME, Dead Space, Alice Returns, Dante's Inferno.

I knew it. Wonder what AI salary looks like? Nothing.
And take away creativity, and people's jobs as we've been seeing. Got it.
No thanks. I want my games created by people, not AI.

Remember when EA used to be awesome? It's all over with now. Unpolished, if not out-right broken games these days. Endless monetization and gambling in their sports games, and let's not forget wasting hours of your life trying to unlock characters or equipment using "surprise boxes!"
Gareth, Justin, and JoeyZ look at Layoff news for EA and Sony and reasons behind the downturn in the industry and more.

On top of that, the year is not even close to being over.
What... the....
Whatever...
If this gen of gamers ever get into positions of power, it really will be the end of the world no matter what year it is.
Like seriously they got the nurve to talk about what a great year its been for racing gamers. An yet they wanna give an award premature to Granturismo 5 and NFS HP laughable.
I think it has been a great year for gaming, but I still can't figure out where they came up with the games they chose, I mean, how did Zombie Driver and WipeOut Fury make it? Zombie isn't a racing game, and Fury is an expansion, yet both made it in when Blur and Gran Turismo 5 didn't even get mentioned. When I wrote the article I tried to stay away from what I think about the selection as it makes no sense to me on what games actually made it in. Crazy...
