It's that time of the month again; all you lucky OPM UK subscribers should be in possession of the latest September issue this morning. For all you less fortunate people, here are the review scores, hot off the press, including a "world exclusive review" of the new Batman.
“I love a good old puzzle game and Zuma is one that I used to play all the time and now you can, too, thanks to EA Play and Game Pass.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.
EA: "As we close in on 15 years since the release of Battlefield 1943, and Bad Company™ 1 & 2, we are announcing that their journey is coming to an end."
This reminds me... I have ME on my PS3 hdd. Never really played it, but it was free.
On PC I don't think it's much of a problem but I'm sad to see BF43 being shut down. I haven't played it in a while since it's stuck on PS3, but i preferred it way more over BF3. It was the lack of invisible barriers which made it better for me.
Does anyone play the last BF anymore? I searched crossplay servers and it was 20 people the most on all the servers? Can never find a game
In the 16-bit era, game devs and composers could finally change the type of tones used in the music, simulating a wider array of instruments and creating a whole lot of great soundtracks in the process.
It wasn’t easy picking out the best of the best because there were so many great ones. Even middle-of-the-road soundtracks seemed to deserve a bump if the game was just that damn good, and so many from that era are that damn good!
Here's the Ghetto Gamer list of top 20 soundtracks from the 16-bit era.
I thought that Batman: AA had already been reviewed by GamesMaster? No matter, they're both owned by Future Publishing.
That the Ps3 version of Batman: AA is going to be great, pity about the xbox 360 version though.....
Don't be gamers, be haters :D
So I guess the rumors about Eidos review tampering for Arkham Asylum were true. Giving the 'excuslive first review' and cover story to any magazine willing to give it a 9 or higher. EpicBattleAxe was right. Just look for a magazine with an exclusive on the review with a score 9 or higher, pretty much the exact requirements Eidos supposedly sent out to numerous magazines that wanted the cover story.
Too bad, cause the game looks like it probably deserves a high score anyways. Dunno why they resort to these types of things, like that whole Kane and Lynch fiasco.
so did OPM have to give Batman:arkam asylum a prefect score to get the exclusive, thats what I heard had been offered to reviewers, give it a great score get the embargo lifted early
Incredible score for Batman. This magazine is always pretty harsh with their reviews. They aren't one to give out 10's very frequently, and so a 9 from them is at least as impressive as a 5 out of 5 from X-Play (for instance).
I'm surprised The Punisher scored higher than Topatoi. In the States, the Punisher didn't do well in reviews, but I thought I'd heard some good things about Topatoi. Oh well.
