Atlus Hints At New Game Announcement

Publisher Atlus is hinting at yet another game announcement for the Western market. This time, they've sent over a picture zoomed in at least 1000x along with the letters T, S, and L shown above in hangman fashion.

Atlus definantly had better days during the PS2 era.

One of their latest game released on the Xbox 360 (Operation Darkness) has a Metacritic score of 40 for gods sake. At this point I don't think that anything released from Atlus deserves a countdown unless it's a sequel to a game that was well recieved on the PS2 that was developed by them, like Odin Sphere.

besides they arent having a bad day at all in this generation with Persona 3 , p3 FES , and now and soon Persona 4 , even if on (the still strong ps2) .

Didn't these guys also publish one of the best RPGs to grace the PS2, Persona 3 FES. Yeah, must've forgot about that. Oh wait, there's more: Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, Odin Sphere, Trauma Center, Etrian Odyssey, Steambot Chronicles, Metal Saga, Magna Carta, and Stella Deus. Heh, must've forgot about those too.

Atlus is just a publisher. They pick up games that would otherwise never release here. Not just that, they normally pack them full of bonuses. Just like Ubi and EA, they will publish their fair share of crappy titles, but don't forget they also bring some of the best to our shores. I have no idea what the announcement will be for, but I'm not going to write it off. Just because Atlus is a small publisher doesn't make them less important.

I want a SMT game for the PS3 too, but I don't see it happening any time soon :( Maybe they'll announce something at the Tokyo Game Show, but I doubt it. I want Shin Megami Tensei 4 or Persona 5 on PS3.

i think it's a sequel to devil summoner if you go look at the new website just launched today. I hope it comea in with a box set so i could put them together.
