Still want to try this game out. Looks really good and fun.
I love me some robot games, but the sad truth is that Gundam games don't really sell well in the west anymore. I'm forced to import games like Gundam EXtreme vs. and Another Century's Episode R...Initial D too...
Same here. This game looked really fun and I really did want to check it out. I still might, even with the bad review scores.
If the online mimicked that of DOA2u or MK9, then it would be amazing. Pick and make rooms, watch fights, edit rules, have a vote button to kick players, tournament set up, TEAM tournament set ups...
They can do a lot...
I never had this issue, but I can see why it can be a problem. I'm not that good at Smash bros, but I would've just attacked them all relentlessly instead of just attacking one at a time like in the video. I doubt those other players were coordinated enough to work as a team and take down Ganondorf.
I just hope this new smash bros is faster and heavier than Brawl. My main issue with Brawl were the slow and floaty physics, stale-moves mechanic, and tripping. Thankfully...
I disagree with this guy. The next generation will probably be more about online services and the cloud.
That's cool. Still waiting for a more major price drop and some more games before investing in the Vita.
Over time, you do need better hardware. It's just inevitable for the most part. Things simply change. Hardware improvements does affect gameplay. Before we just had 4 main input buttons and a D-pad, but now we have joysticks, shoulder buttons, and now touch pads/screens. These are all new ways to play with improved graphics/power. More power means more enemies, more lands, and more stuff too.
I do believe that consoles should upgrade every 4-6 years though. This generati...
The gaming community is pretty messed up as a whole. There are just too few clear headed gamers out there who can handle disagreements. If a person does not like a particular (popular) game, then everyone attacks that person. If you don't play certain games, then you're shunned. If you don't do X, Y, and Z you're not a REAL gamer. Stupidity spreads thanks to the internet. While some memes are funny, it can be insulting to a certain race or sex. Girl gamers get attacked and hit...
There are too many good ones!
Favorite males:
* Megaman X
* Fei Fong Wong (Xenogears)
* Snake (Naked Snake/Big Boss a little more so though)
* Link (Anything but the Wind Waker design...)
* Mag Launcher (Evolution: Worlds)
* Fox/Falco (Starfox)
* Ark (Terranigma)
* Chrono (Chrono trigger)
* Shulk (Xenoblade)
* Gabe/Richter Belmont (Castlevania)
* Diddy Kong
* Sonic
* Mario ...
This was one of the easiest puzzles in the game. The one that gave me some issues were the wind ones.
I wrote a blog about this not too long ago.
Hardcore, casual gamers...these are all things that have very different definitions because we all have very different gaming standards. Is there a true definition of a REAL gamer? Yes. It's base definition is simply: One who plays games. That's it. Doesn't say anything about hours or what games you play...just that you play (and love) games.
There are no hardcore games, just hardcore players. People can hardco...
Sex DOES sell, but I don't think it sells well enough for games. If sex did sell, games like Xtreme beach volleyball would have been one of the best selling console game on earth. A lot of gamers buy GOOD GAMES. Gamers typically look for good gameplay and good graphics.
A lot of video game characters HAVE to look attractive to sell well. Male or female, the characters have to have some sort of appeal to them. No one wants to play as an ugly character. I think media in gen...
I would like to see more PC and console connectivity. I loved that feature in PSU on the ps2 (pc players can play with ps2 players).
That's true and sums up everything. It's all about how REAL things have to be.
"I don't know about you, but I don't generally hear theme music pertaining to what I happen to be doing at any given time during the day."
I would love to have a dynamic mp3 player that plays certain themes for certain scenarios in life.
Walking to school or work on a very snowy day:
Those who over hype this game only spoil it for themselves. Being too much of a fan can kill a game too. This game is all types of old school and maybe the reviewer has gone past that.
I liked the game and style BECAUSE it was very old school and traditional. I think the last game I played that was like this was Golden Sun DS.
No way! You can POSSIBLY play Simcity OFFLINE! That's amazing...
Seriously though, they screwed up by making this game online only like an mmo. A lot of customers didn't know what they were getting into (the mmo part of simcity). This game series should always have an offline mode and online being OPTIONAL. Simcity was always a 1 player game, and there are people who don't like depending or playing with people online. They just want to do their own thing on their ...
The closest thing to that concept was Code Geass. It blew my mind when I found out that Brittania empire originated from the Americas and NOT Europe.
As much as I liked Xenosaga, I can't say it's a good trilogy. Xenosaga 2 completely destroyed the series' flow and was a terrible game. 5 hours in and got to the 2nd disc....
For me, in no order:
Metal Gear solid 1-3
Sonic 1-3+knuckles
Golden sun 1-3
Mario 1-3?
It's really hard to name a good trilogy that consistently got better, imo. It's mainly because the second game of the trilogy usually beats...
One guy gives it 5, the other gives it a 7. Again, a game has to either be super tedious, broken and glitchy, or just plain not fun to score a 5/10. I have to play the game myself to be able to get a better opinion on it, but I do think a 5/10 is super low JUST because the guy thinks that the single player mode was just average.
