That's just how much of a mess this game was. I had no problems with past FF games understanding and caring about the characters presented before me. Most of The characters were annoying. The only competent character out of the bunch was Sazh and Fang.
The problem I have with Microtransactions mainly came from Free to play games. People would pay to win most of the time. Companies have to make their money from that game, so I didn't really mind the pay to win model there.
When it comes to a full priced games, I have more of a problem with Disk locked content than micro transactions. Most of the micro transactions I've see so far were just small cheats to help players get by. Nothing too bad, but then there's DL...
It happens though. When a game like GOW does more of the same, it's boring. But when COD or Madden rehashes their game...it still gets very high scores. Double standards...
When is an 8/10 a bad thing?
Co-op would've made the game a little more fun and a good couch game. This would've been a good change of pace from the shooter co-op games I played...If only Anarchy Reigns had a local mode...
That looks pretty cool, but not a fan of super slim keyboards. Still cool though.
I don't know what to really say about this review. If he's going to treat Gow:A like a tired series, he will have to be consistent with the other games out there to. Every FPS game should be docked points cause they're all FPS games or are tired out.
So far it seems like this game is a lot better than GOW3. Can't wait to check it out.
FF13 was a mess of a game. Right from the get go, you don't understand what's going on with the plot and even if you read their book thing, you'll have a hard time caring about what's going on with these character. The only good that came from this game was the battle system (which was thankfully fixed in FF13-2).

I don't think they are losing relevance at all. People still buy a lot of physical games as opposed to the XBL/PSN games. Don't those physical games outsell the PSn/xbl games? There will always be retail games and smaller games. Not all small games can provide an amazing experience and as better funded one.
It's pretty much true that the early bird gets the worm. I'm pretty confident that Sony will beat out Microsoft this generation. Then again we still have to see what MS has in store for their nextbox...
I do agree that it is competitiveness that kills a lot of the fun. Especially if you have that one guy who smack talks while everyone stays quite. That one guy that complains about how the game cheats him or how his moves work better at home or how the TV is lagging his controls. When that guy wins, he flaunts...when he loses...he blames everything other than his lack of skill...
It's really that seriousness about games that can kill the fun. A lot of gamers hate losing ...
He's going to retire soon, I think. He's contributed a lot to gaming and I'd like him to go out on a high note. Miyamoto is a legend.
So much nostalgia. I stopped watching pokemon the moment he released Pigeot. I think before then he left his best pokemon all over the place or released them. Charizard is somewhere in some mountains, Squirtle works as a fire fighter, and Bulbasaur...I think he's still with Oak.
The Day Miyamoto retires is probably the day Nintendo becomes a 3rd party developer. Mario on Xbox and ps5? A terrible thought...but look what happened with Sega. I really hope this future doesn't come true. I want nintendo to keep making consoles, even without Miyamoto. Will they be good or better tha Miyamoto's influence? Maybe? Only time will tell.
This game needs to be bundled with the Pirates of the Caribbean sound track. It fits just too well.
No way! They have Kinect..2! This is amazing! I can't wait to play Dance Central some more (Sarcasm). Let's see how MS explains their nextbox at their meeting/showing. I hope it does not have kids jumping in front of the kinect. The nextbox is becoming less and less appealing with all these rumors popping up. Always online, blocking used games in some way, kinect 2...
The Wii-u first...then PS4 later down the line for me. This all does depend on the console price and the games.
