Some of these rumors are pretty out there. Hopefully M$ says something or has a reveal conference soon. I really want to see what the nextbox really is.
When you present a game...or any kind of media for that matter, you're not going to please everyone. Someone is always going to have a problem with whatever is out there. Not everyone likes Dark Souls and Zelda.

Isn't this being sexist? It's wrong to kill a sexy demon woman, but if the demon woman was butt ugly...it's okay? IMO, if a character is hostile and wants to kill you, man or woman, you have the right to defend yourself. If that evil character, man or woman, wanted to rip your guts out, you should retaliate. Kratos isn't killing women, he's killing demons. He isn't killing innocent people for fun either.
I'm surprised that DMC:dmc Dante isn't on this list.
I could name a few other characters, but they aren't technically ugly...just generic looking. Star Killer, Wesker's son (Jake), Kicking guy in DOA5 (Rigg), Infamous guy (Cole), Male Commander Shepard...shaved head guy. They all look the same and some of them actually act the same too...snarky and over confident...but nice.
I would also add the skyrim characters. Seeing an unmodded Lydia...My goodnes...
I would've preferred if Saints Row 4 was more or less a reboot or retelling, like Final Fantasy (where the games are not connected). A brand new game and story would've been better than the bloated DLC that is Saints Row 4.
Saints Row 3 was super crazy, yeah, but not as crazy as this. This isn't saints row anymore...it's Prototype! I just feel that they really lost their way with the series and do hope they restart from scratch with a Saints row 5/reboot/rete...
As good as the game was, seeing another opinion does open thins up more. I do agree at some points with his review, especially since Raiding Tombs is treated like a side activity.
Was looking forward to this game. No idea when they'll actually start making the game.
Great Review and I agree with your point of view on this game. It was a pretty bland and generic game that was just over-hyped. I did like that it tried to pull a Dark souls where death in the game hurts...a lot. Unlike Dark Souls, this game was boring and not really fun. The multiplayer sucks too. Nice concept of pad vs FPS player, but IMO, is severally unbalanced.
Will DOA5 on the consoles get a "plus" patch too? I wouldn't mind paying for an EXPANSION pack for DOA5. Though I wish they added 2pvs2p tag mode online...DOA5's online sucked compared to DOA2u...that was an xbox1 game!

Most of the people who buy EA games, namely madden and fifa, don't buy Nintendo consoles. Few do, but most of them get either the 360 or the ps3. Most of those same people ONLY play sports games too and don't see Nintendo as a sports system...or as a system at all. Since, you know, Nintendo consoles only has kids games and doesn't have real games like the Battlefield and whatnot <-sarcasm.
I can't name any other EA multiplatform game that sold a lot on the ...

the Wii-u needs way more amazing games before it can reach the Dreamcast status (died in 2 years, but had an amazing library of games. POWER STONE!!).
I liked SR3, but this game looks...really crappy and too over the top for its own good at this point. I like unrealistic stuff, but this just looks way too crazy to the point of it not feeling like SR anymore...but like prototype or something.
Most of the wii hate comes from gamers disliking Nintendo for having an under-powered system. And then there's the:
"This game is good..FOR A WII GAME."
I always hear that. It's like they don't consider the wii (or Nintendo) a viable console. They don't consider wii games as "real" games.

The only thing they didnt really describe are the controls. Macross (sega ver) on ps2 had really weird controls and I hope this game isn't the same. I hope it plays more like ACE.

It's a video game! Just turn off your brain for 2 seconds and enjoy what's happening! Games DO NOT HAVE TO ME REALISTIC to be be fun and immersive! People can easily get immersed into Pokemon as much as Skyrim. It's simply all about how interested players are in the story, gameplay, or the world presented before them.
Realistic ELEMENTS are alright, but the game doesn't need to strive to mimic reality. Doing so turns your game into a simulator...and a lot of ...
I don't know how to feel about this games futuristic approach. Saints row 3 was stupid, but stupid fun. This seems way too over the top for its own good, but I'll give it a try either way.
That's fairly good, especially if you start including all the extra stuff to do. it should double that playtime.
Maybe you can stick a VMU screen thing there...or a SUPER rumble pack or a texting Keyboard! Holy crap! The possibilities!
