Maybe not, but you can be sure it'll be considerably more than twice the game.

There's been one delay, you idiot. And that was in Japan. Its never been delayed in the states or europe.

@Scotracer,
First off, neither of us know how it'll turn out, dont pass it off so easily just yet. I'll agree that most should expect an online PC service like iRacing to be more serious, if not only for the cost, which is considerably higher than GT5 even forgetting about the cost of a decent PC with either a good CPU or PHYSX card to run those physics. But, you need to remember that Polyphony are very enthusiastic about cars, and probably the hardest working devs out there, ...

I was in SA for the world cup a few days ago and bought both burnout and shift for pretty much nothing (especially seeing as I won at the casino :D), since where I'm from games are hard to come by.
Being a GT fan, Im really liking shift, but was amazed at how much I like burnout and how good it looks for an old game!
Almost bought ModNation Racers but thought again as I already had 2 racing games, ModNation was like 100 dollars and that I dont really play online much (stup...

seeing as bluetooth uses radio waves which are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and thus travel at 3 x 10^8 m/s, ie the speed of light, then bluetooth should be significantly faster than a wired mouse. Obviously its not as simple as that, but its microprocessors and other electronics/technology (software included) which atribute delay, not the communication itself.

What this means - There exist bluetooth mice as fast or faster than wired mice (though the general trend is...

Forget Game Of the Year, This dream representing countless hours upon hours of tireless work towards perfection deserves no less then GOTD: Game Of The Decade. There is simply no disc on the planet with more content.

So what I'm getting from this, is that with a PS3 one buys Resistance 1 + 2, Uncharted 1 + 2, Killxone 2 and God Of War 3, but with a 360 one's left with only Halo 3.
Talk sales all you want, I'm left pretty confident in my PS3 purchase when I get 6 top notch experiences compared to one game. Yeah they sold less, because Sony side there's actually other games to play. These just scratch the surface.

Its disappointing but the PS3 version is clearly inferior software. Disappointing because the PS3 is clearly able to spit out much higher quality, when devs put in the effort. 360 certainly wins this round.
That said, I'm still getting it on PS3. Why? because of the free online? No. I rarely play online and don't care for the exclusive content. The reason I'm buying it for PS3 is simple, while my launch PS3 continues to run like the wind, my 360 is dead after being self re...

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about this, seeing as I have a Mac, and a PS3. Valve make great games, and Steam isn't half bad (although the OS X port is rubbish atm), but this comment here is ridiculous. I'll probably play the games on PC or Mac anyway, but you're alienating a huge market.

@arakouftaian,
If Valve are doing anything other than working as hard as they can on Episode 3, I will be angry. If I even see them at E3 rather than working on Episode 3, I will be angry. If I get news of one of the devs taking sick leave, I will be angry.
Portal 2 is almost a good enough reason to slow development of Episode 3, almost...
It's their own fault, they shouldn't have made Episode 2 as awesome as it was, and then end it the way they did. :)

reveals? really? Is he even remotely implying that the rest of the whole dang world didn't know this 3 years ago?

@skv007,
I dont know, for me, out of the two fps', I'd actually argue that Killzone 2 is more impressive. It's gritty artistic style is more immersive, and I prefer the animations (like the kills, weapon reloads). also the exaggerated lighting shows it off quite a bit.
That said, Crysis is definitely the more photo-realistic, no question. But I find it's artistic quality a bit boring as a result. Then again, I haven't had the luxury of playing Crysis at tru...

@BeaArthur,
I agree, $50 a year isn't much to ask, but the standard here should really be free online gaming, and then maybe payment for additional features. remember, $50 a year equals $300 over six years, a rough guess at the average lifespan of a console. You'll have then payed for your box twice. Or, to put it in perspective, I may only be able to afford 5 full games a year on the 360 compared to 6 full games on the ps3. It all adds up, and the quality of Live really isn&#...

its 50 pounds, not dollars. Thats roughly $100. I really doubt that'll cost as much as that, or that anything in this rumor is true. wait for word from Sony, my guess is they'll start to weed out high cost features of the current free psn over time whilst adding new content for the premium. That way they encourage people to upgrade, yet can still advertise free online gaming. Expect things like Qore, Beta access, and perhaps some subscription based content ala free psn games, Home stu...

But more than £49 yeah?

5246d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I have to say, theres something in that idea of integrating mics... but I think bundled headsets are the way to go, no mechanical moving parts (remember them controllers be vibrating! you dont wanna have a small buzz in the background of all your games do you?), and you also get the benefit of a speaker in your ear. Have team radio on the headset and dedicate environmentals and music to the surround sound.
