GT1 was the legacy, GT2 the evolution, GT3 was probably my favourite, GT4 the biggest time consumer and GT5 is the gift to car enthusiasts.

That's a pretty steep hill, and remember it's a dirt track. I really doubt a real Fiat 500 (having a family member who owns one) would make it up such a hill. Maybe because it's technically better in almost every way? 1000+ cars, tracks, course maker, dynamic weather, point to point rally, wrc rally, nascar, top gear, time of day (night racing), significantly higher detail on 200+ premium cars, better driving physics, more robust online experience, 16 cars in a race, exclusive cars such as Red Bull X1, F2007, F10, photomode... Forza 3 is a great racing game, considering the development time, but it just doesn't compare...

Because instead they went for 1080p and almost consistent 60fps. The only times people have generally noticed a drop in fps is 16 car race grids, with rain or dynamic TOD. I'm pretty happy that they've pushed the bar, even if performance isn't quite solid.
Also, how is not including a few Skylines going to contribute to 300 extra premium cars? The reason you think it's not worth having so many Skylines, is because in your opinion, most are very similar, right?...

PirateThom and Elwenil have it bang on (bubbles), if anything, GT has been criticised as too easy by its fans. The AI has been a problem in the past, although with 16 cars and the new AI, if Prologue is any indication this has significantly improved - the AI is the most challenging I've seen (which is very good).
Progress in past GT's has been very easy, often it boils down to patience more than anything else, but it's still rew...

Portal 1 was included in the Orange Box with another 4 games. Portal 2 is a standalone release, it should be considerably deeper.
Did you play Portal 1 at all? If not, give it a try. I've not met any gamer who didn't enjoy it. It's not like any other "puzzle" game you'll see, and the dialogue is absolutely amazing.
Yep, Veyron's standard. Not a big deal for me, personally, but I can understand why it'd be popular. To me, it says a lot of good things about Polyphony and GT5 that the Fiat 500 is premium and Veyron's standard :D
I'm more spiffed that they didn't include the SuperSport. Now that, I'd be interested in driving.
