Yeah, this is not the first time they do a clickbait title. They had a «Half-Life 2 sequel launches on Steam, but it’s not by Valve» article just a few months ago https://n4g.com/news/250002...
Don't think it's a typo or anything and they fully understand what they're doing is what i'm trying to say

EA again, really? Disney, did I ever tell you what the definition of "insanity" is?

[SPOILER ALERT]

I guess it's a personal preference, but i wouldn't rate this DLC higher than a 5/10. Stealth sections were just awful, felt so cartooney, like a bad parody. Lack of weapons, secrets, enemy variety, locations (they're all the same from the same base), same characters and only two boss fights*, one with the same boss that you already fought in original. Story didn't make much sense either. Even ending cutscene is exactly the same, wtf is that?!...

I don't get it, why do you need a separate console then? If TVs, phones, existing consoles (handhelds included) are able to stream the games, then what's the point?

I don't want to say that they're a shell company or something. But their reviews are weird. Here are the examples:

Marvel’s Avengers - 4/5
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint - 4/5
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 - 5/5
Far Cry New Dawn - 4/5
Anthem - 4.6/5
Assassin’s Creed Origins - no score, but very favorable review ("When it comes to open world role-playing games, you could possibly say that Ubisoft has taken it to th...

«In the meantime, not much is similar at all between Silent Hill and Resident Evil»
«Silent Hill 2 remake seems to emulate the cinematic atmosphere and graphical fidelity of Resident Evil’s popular remakes»
Wow... What a waste of a "rant", shame on you.

Not talking about Ninja Theory or the game, but showing this tech in a Twitter video was very shortsighted and bad idea. I can not see the difference between chromatic aberration and spherical aberration at all. Highly praised bokeh effect is also only a minor improvement (again, judging from the video they provided). Not to mention, they didn't show how the game looks in motion with each of the effects active. I might be blind, of course...

No offence, but what's stopping you then?

You have to understand that good voice acting:
1) takes a lot of practice and talent. You need to have a good range, have a consistent performance and actually act with your voice. You can't just start doing voice acting and expected to be paid this much.
2) is an inconsistent job. Meaning that VA might work for a few weeks and then be done till next game is in development (aka, years aw...

You can do anything with Mario, though (if we're using that as an example). And Nintendo did. It started as a Donkey Kong game i believe, then competitive Mario arcade, then platformer Mario bros., tetris-like Dr. Mario, Tennis, Golf, Paint, educational, Kart, Party, even Roulette, you name it. What i'm saying is, a ton of Mario games are not platformers (probably way more non-platformers than platformers, i think), the only "glue" that ties the games are Mario, Luigi, Yoshi...

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is not one of the «two of the greatest action games of all time», come on, not even close. And it didn't do a «total reinvention» of the series, all of the ideas of MGRR were already thought out and made into a prototype (original Metal Gear Rising) by Kojima Productions. Look at the old E3 trailer made by them, all of the Revengeance ideas were already present there.

And to answer the authors' question of «how...

This has nothing to do with cheaters, wake up already, they're trying to get your actual phone number, that's it. That's why they don't allow prepaid ones. So that can use it for marketing purposes and share with their "partners" and be pretty sure you'll receive the ad.

To combat cheaters, you need to have a good anti-cheat system, not phone verification. I don't know if this is...

Looks like not exactly, existing Overwatch 1 players don't have to add the phone, but new ones do. Quoting their official update on us.forums.blizzard.com:
«... We have made the decision to remove phone number requirements for a majority of existing Overwatch players. Any Overwatch player with a connected Battle.net account, which includes all players who have played since June 9, 2021, will not have to provide a phone number to play. We are working to make this change and e...

If a person steals from you, does it make ok for other to steal as well? No. One doing something is not an excuse for you to do that thing as well. It's not though. Phone numbers can switch owners. Imagine if some cheater uses a phone, gets banned and then cancells the phone contract. Phone company will not remove the phone completely, right? It will give it to some poor soul, who will be banned or under the suspicion right away, without doing anything.

Cheaters can buy phone numbers in bulk for cheap, use phishing to get the code, guess the code after some tries, add spyware to some apps you're running (like s...

You know this is going to be both sad and bad at the same time, because they have to make a separate definition, «exclusives for xbox». Which is different from exclusives for other consoles. Yikes.

Also, according to the article, «Sea of Thieves: Season 5» was only released on PC (Microsoft Windows) and Xbox One. And Psychonauts 2 was on Playstation and you can play it on PS5. So they break their own rules («We’re defining Xbox Series X exclusives a...

While i understand your point (and somewhat agree, buying an expensive piece of equipment to run new demanding games is not the best investment you can make; but saying poor outright shouldn't play sounds like some pointless elitism, IMO), though, you can play old games without any issues even on super old PCs. Or emulate older consoles.

Regarding whatever they should be playing or not in general - it depends on a person, i think. Gaming usually helps me to relax, clear...

I don't think cheaters or smurf problems have anything to do with this. They're probably trying to collect personal data for new players. And some people are happy to provide it, seems like.

Overwatch 1 was a paid game and it had smurfs and cheaters aplenty. Why didn't $20-$60 have solved this but phone contract (which also costs around $20-$30 a month in US and probably even less in other countries) will? The fact that the game is paid didn't stop anyone, r...
