I don't have a problem with it. What I do have a problem with is the fact that so many are able to get the game days, even weeks earlier than release day and that falls on the publisher and their relationship with distributors. I had an employee of Target try to sell me a copy for $200 on Friday. I assumed he stole those copies from the store where he worked. I have friends who bought copies and you know what, if it's worth that to them to get the game a couple days in advance, that...
I find Spartan Ops a bit boring myself. I feel a disconnect between the CG episodes and the gameplay. The gameplay is short and shallow. There's just not enough to do. I'd have much preferred Firefight. The campaign rocks! I played Legendary with friends and Heroic by myself and it's just an awesome experience.
I loved ODST. Every Halo fan has a huge affinity for the Chief but that doesn't mean as fans we can't enjoy the games that do not feature Master Chief. I love the Halo Universe and the Halo lore. I've enjoyed every one of the Halo games.
MW3 was a much better game than MW2. The Call of Duty formula has worn thin but every year each iteration seems to sell more than the last. It wouldn't surprise me if Black Ops 2 outsells MW3.

Civilization also is an easily recognizable IP. Fans know what the game is and what to expect. There were a lot of unknowns about the XCOM reboot. Great critical reception and the demo represented the game well. It's just such an unknown IP to today's gamers.
I've gotten used to the game's soundtrack but I do miss Firefight. The new soundtrack is actually amazing, just unfamiliar at times.
It was a max of 32GB using 2 16GB USBs, is it now 64GB using 2 32GB USBs?
May I ask what price drop? Seriously, I wasn't aware there was a price drop. I've been looking for a new Xbox and considered the 4GB as an alternative.
Love Ragnarok, Haven and Complex. I think Solace is the only one I dislike.
Not really. There are many who play Halo who never play the campaign. I think they're missing out since Halo's universe and it's lore are it's biggest draw but I'm sure there is an audience out there who wouldn't mind paying a discounted price for access only to multiplayer.
Dead! LMAO!
The game's truly awesome. Spartan Ops could have been more fleshed out and I would have liked to seen Firefight return but the game as a whole is fantastic. If you weren't a fan of Halo, Halo 4 weren't convert you but what's on offer is pure fan service and it's excellently done.
And you get a poster for preordering GTAV. Cool story I guess? Maybe?
I know right. I've played through Borderlands 2 3 times already, each time just hoping to come across some exceptionally rare loot! Fighting bosses over and over again in True Vault Hunters mode and finally getting their rare item is like hitting the jackpot in Vegas!
I think there is a place for both. There is no Battlefield game this fall and as Battlefield showed, there is room in the fall lineup for another competitive multiplayer shooter to be successful. Halo has its fan base and I expect they'll buy the game as they always have. Anyone who's a fan of both will get both. I don't think many people are making an "either/or" choice this fall where both games are concerned. And with the fall shopping season, I think Microsoft has gu...
Racist dick!
Halo wont keep people who have an interest in voting from doing so. If you had no interest in voting, I'm sure you could use Halo as a poor excuse.
Yup! Skipped Assassin's Creed 3 because I was waiting for this.
Anyone in this day an age can find a USB thumb drive for additional storage. It's as simple as plugging it in and allocating the necessary storage. If you have a 4GB HD and you haven't already done this, you have been cheating yourself. There is no outrage! Just people making a mountain out of an ant hill!
My worry about reviews isn't that it's someone's opinion, it's the lack of objectivity when the reviewer clearly isn't a fan of a particular franchise or genre. If you're not a fan of a franchise, a new game wont change your opinion. Games within a franchise iterate and make evolutionary changes. Similarly, if you're not a fan of a genre, it's hard to appreciate when a game within that genre does things well. Reviews are opinions but they should offer objectivi...
