Holy crap, I thought I was the only one! I've never cared for Star Wars and I'm in my mid thirties, I'm from that generation. It's just not interesting to me!
Burnout 3 Takedown was the best in the series in my opinion. I loved that game. Think it was stuck in my PS2 until God of War 2 came out! I even bought it as an Xbox Original when I got an Xbox 360.
Looks more like DLC than an expansion. It seems like a multipath mission.
I don't mind expansions. I posted in another article, this fall is just jammed packed with new games. I wished this had come out during the summer. The game came out in May, 6 months ago. I'm sure I'll play it but probably next year when the second expansion is out.
PES on PS4 is the way to go this year for sure. The demo was stellar and just felt better. With Option File Sharing you can compensate for the lack of licences. Hope it's implemented on the XBox One in the future because, PES is really the better of the two this year. If anyone needs a link to how to use Option File Sharing, Game Informer did a great how to here . . . 3190d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment
80% completion, 320 hours invested. I wished I had time to invest as much in this expansion. I wished this came out during the summer. The game launched in May. So many games on my plate but I'll probably play this when the second expansion is out next year.
Stealth troll?? How?? Because I can appreciate and play both? It comes out almost exactly a month after the Nathan Drake Collection. Which gives me ample time to play both!

Try this. It's $40, from Turtle Beach and better looking.
Just in time for me to run through the Nathan Drake Collection then plow through this! Can't wait!
If you game on PC and can maintain a rock solid 60 FPS, your rig costs more than my Xbox One and PS4 combined. So forgive me, I'll keep my consoles and you can enjoy your marginally better better FPS with crashes, bugs and bad ports.
Gonna get murdered for saying this but wet racing is pretty garbage. Since it isn't dynamic I've already memorized where the puddles are and readjusted my driving line. It's simply of no consequence after the first few times you've raced one of the few tracks with rain.
Edit: To those disagreeing, this is a fact. It's a pretty poor implementation of weather!
I love couch co-op and I would gladly sacrifice resolution to share the experience with my wife the way we have in the past. This was a growing problem last generation as well. Prioritizing numbers over experiences. I can't play 1080p 60FPS with my wife! I can't play 4 player split-screen mutliplayer in my basement on my projector with my friends. I never cared that Halo 3 was 640p or whatever the hell it was! I wished developers would start prioritizing experiences again over numbers...
Just watched Mary's feature on the game over at Gamespot.com. I can't wait to play the game. I recently replayed the Definitive Edition to 96% completion. I loved the reboot and I'm more than impressed by the sequel. The areas are bigger and more dynamic, there are no side quests to gain allies. They've managed to top the first and that's impressive.
I played Destiny, avidly and I have defended the game from time to time but a year and $140 to get the game we were promised, that's disappointing. Taken King may have brought Bungie and Destiny's defenders some redemption but let's be honest, for a year, the game was mediocre at best!
No, it's kinda garbage. Great polish doesn't make a bland, cut and paste, 3rd person shooter a good game.
What get's me is that many of the same publications that gave the game universal praise are now leveling criticism at the game. Reviews set the bar of expectation very high and this has left most disappointed by the game they got. It's not the first time and it won't be the last a game with incredible hype, with extreme polish, from a lauded developer, gets undeserved high praise.
No, they shouldn't "get over it". If Bungie wanted to lock out year 1 players from content they've been playing and are entitled to having bought the game they should have just released Destiny 2.
I know. October can't get here fast enough!
And it's still better than every other racing title on consoles. You can nitpick it apart for what it lacks but if offers more than every one else. Stop being petty.
And that's the thing, with Star Wars having so much lore, wouldn't this be a great opportunity to craft an evocative and emotionally engaging story? Seems like a missed opportunity. They can frame it how they want but it seems nothing more than the use of the Star War license to make a Battlefield mod!
