I disagree with you. The MGS games with Solid were good. But the games with Big Boss as the lead are the superior games of the series. 4 was the weakest. 3 and 5 are the strongest.

Agreed. The cars (premium) have enough detail for this gen. The physics are there to be expanded upon. Last gen was nearly 1080p @40-60 fps so will easily run at a full 1080p@60fps this gen. Last gen we saw better weather and lighting in GT6 than in this gens Forza 6, adaptive tessellation ect. Okay so the PS3 hardware was modest, but these things will matter and make a world of difference on PS4. Cannot wait.
PS. Forza is good. I wasn't knocking it. But GT should exceed...

GT7 will improve upon last gen GT5 and GT6. Adaptive Tessellation, Dynamic weather, ect. Forza 6 is nice in a last-gen kind of way.
The extra performance potential of the PS4 will show with first party games.

Forxa 6 is looking good, I would not complain if I had it on PS4. But Polyphony will deliver with the extra GPU resources, ROPS, and faster memory of PS4. They need to with all of the competition today.
I generally don't like gold. A gold watch looks cheap and tacky to me, even if it is a wonderfully crafted mechanical wonder.
However I like this black and gold PS4. Reminds me of an old Toyota Corolla Twin Cam or something that also came in black and gold.
I think that this is a silly comparison, artistic vs realistic. But you ask why its always about the rain and weather?
That is because those effects are the hardest and most demanding to nail. Hence the new Forza6-great game- doesn't have dynamic weather. Hell GT6 does stuff that Forza 6 doesn't.
Create your own checkpoints buy achieving a goal, say taking out an awkward soldier then leave the mission area, you will see spinning squares top right of screen, run back into mission area, location name will appear as words on screen. Boom! Checkpoint created. Have you actually played the game?
I was hoping for some Comicbook style cut scenes like we had in Potable Ops and Peace Walker. Those were the most atmospheric with great voice acting and sounds. Some of those mixed with the Game Engine scenes would have been sweet. Perhaps instead of just cassette tapes we could have had VCR ect for those of us who really appreciate hearing about nuclear missiles, and Alaskan Field Mice.
Both are joint as best of gen so far, for me.
Witcher 3 is better than GTA, TES, and Fallout and all other such games in my opinion. Is it better than Mass Effect though?? hmmmm. Its story telling, voice acting, pace, its all good. I was surprised at how much I liked it, still need to finish it, and I will, but I'm in no way bored with it. Its NPCs are the best I have seen in a game, they still detract sometimes, but they are overall good.
