@PLASTIC-MAN
When we cast of the shackles of PS3/360 then we will see what Fox Engine is capable of. As long as Ground Zeroes is an improvement over MGS4 technically then that will do for such a multi platform title this early in PS4's life cycle.
Auto-balance what? The debate was over before they launched. PS4, cheaper, better.
XB1 too expensive, under powered, difficult to get next gen running on it. Designed and geared towards expensive Pay walls.
Ha ha. Debate. That's funny, really is.
@Balls 'n the eyes
That's funny.
If your wax seal had a FoxHound imprint I think they would take notice.
It was worth the wait for GT6. The ultimate driving game on PS3 or XB360, in terms of visuals, and of physics and a simulated driving experience. It is a pure distillation of automobile love.
And to think it has only been out for about 1 month, end of January sees big updates and inclusions of content, and then more releases through the life of the title.
If you want to compare last gen GT to F5 then I will accommodate you: GT6 does things which Forza 5 doesn't. I do exp...
You fool. Any added features for PS4 are not at the expense of its gaming credentials, design, or price. Do we all really need to go through this again?
I hope we get some of the PS1 ingenuity. I cannot think of too many instances since MGS where we have been amazed (reading memory cards, changing ports). Snake Eater had clock specific features, and Guns of the Patriots had Otacon communicating to the player through a headset, independent of the game audio, a nice touch but more would be welcomed.
'Stop sniggering at the back'.
It means 4200000 people have common sense when spending their dosh.
My launch PS3 would not output a BluRay at standard def? Are you saying that you can watch BluRay as standard def on your PS3?
1080p up to 1st gen slim. What does that mean?
A PS3 with HDMI up to 1080p
A PS3 with a component cable outputs up to 1080i.
RGB Scart and Composite are also supported.
Really? 3D?
Would we not rather see an improved frame rate? Don't get me wrong, I think GT6 is visually amazing. And any drops in performance are somehow more acceptable compared to GT5 (and they didn't bother me then either).
But if there is any juice left to be squeezed then it should be used to reinforce the splendid Full HD, not for 3D.
There is a reason why GT6 is so far missing grid starts in career mode.
Every Little Helps.
I thought that motto was for MS Marks and Spencers?
But actually it is for MS MicroSoft?
Zzzz zzz zzzz zzz........
Another one!
Deary deary me.
So what. Both systems have GPUs that will be doing tasks traditionally carried on the CPUs. It doesn't matter which console has a slightly better CPU. GPU is where the performance is. PS4 is superior overall in every aspect of game development. The fact that PS4 has a better CPU is just another little increase on its already impressive lead over XB1, and I do welcome it. Good job Mr Cerny.
If only we had gotten Interstellar Marines. The development funds could have produced that game instead.
I am pretty sure that when PS4 is using more power, for example when web browsing, it is doing it much faster than the XBone.
Oh look. More screenshots. When will we see it running on a console?
(Project Cars Forever?)
Back to GT6 and the fantastic Redbull Cart racing.
No shit Sherlock - in response to the title.
And I think Sony studios will be up to speed already. Working with Cell.B.E will make them ready for multi core CPU.
No?
Amazing on PS3 considering this is also on the other platforms. How have they made a multi-platform title a graphical showcase on PS3? The lighting and weather effects are phenomenal.
Also the A.I seems improved from GOTP, well done Kojima Productions. The final product is promising to be great. No doubt they are keeping their powder dry for the full release, but already impressed with GZ.
